“Do I have to spell it out for you, word for word, letter by letter?” He smiled his lop-sided grin that she loved so much.
She stared at him wide-eyed. His declaration seized her breath then, made her knees wobble. If it weren’t for the car seat that was supporting her, she might fall from her seat. Looking at how handsome he was, she couldn’t look away. After a while, his stare seemed to burn her so she forced herself to tear her eyes away from him. She looked down at her hands on her lap. He chuckled.
