Chapter 7: Alpha Blood

288 Words
Inside the Stone mansion, Sienna was overwhelmed by the lavish yet eerie surroundings. The house was huge, with long hallways and old-fashioned decor, but it wasn’t the grandeur that unsettled her. It was the presence of the triplets, who seemed even more intimidating now that she knew their secret. They led her to a large sitting room with a roaring fire. Aiden stood in front of her, arms crossed, his eyes blazing with intensity. “You’re probably wondering why we brought you here.” Sienna nodded, still too shocked to speak. Asher leaned against the fireplace, his usual playfulness absent. “We couldn’t let you leave, not after what you saw. Our existence is supposed to be a secret. If anyone else finds out, it could endanger the entire pack.” Sienna frowned. “The pack?” Axel spoke next, his voice low. “We’re not just any wolves. We’re Alphas. The leaders of our pack. We have responsibilities—power. And now, because you saw us, we’re responsible for you too.” Aiden’s eyes darkened. “But that’s not the only reason we brought you here. There’s something else. Something about you that we don’t understand.” “What do you mean?” Sienna asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Asher exchanged a glance with his brothers. “You’re not just a normal human, Sienna. There’s something in your blood. We can feel it. It’s like…” He paused, searching for the right words. “Like you’re connected to us. To our world.” Sienna’s heart raced. “What are you saying? That I’m…not human?” “We’re saying you’re different,” Aiden said, his voice tight. “And we need to find out why.”
