Opening my eyes to the early morning sun, I glanced beside me to see Desire fast asleep. A smile bloomed on my face at the feel of her warm skin against mine. I finally have her back with me. She looked so peaceful as she slept, I didn't want to wake her. It was obvious she'd not been sleeping well, the bags under her eyes were a testament.
Carefully, so as not to wake her, I slipped out of bed and picked up my discarded clothes. They were still damp and had a slight moldy smell.
Heading into the bathroom, I picked up a towel and wrapped it around my waist. I moved into the kitchen where I'd seen the washing machine and dryer and slipped my clothes in the dryer.
