Chapter 23

Bauxia frowned, the battle was looking very grim. He and the two brothers were the only ones who could fight now. Zylong had been immobilized and lykeson was defending with his life.

The long rangers were the ones keeping the little remaining human centipede from attacking the defenseless waterfall members while they protected the village. They had set up an ice wall sturdy enough to even keep even the warrior centipedes occupied. The queen was the thing to kill now….

“Ling, Xiao, hold her still one more time!” bauxia spoke to the brothers. They had to stop the queen! The brothers had since recovered from what the warrior centipedes did to them and were ready to start again.

They went to the two legs they could find and pulled. The queen which had already prepared for another charge was furious seeing as she couldn’t move. Bauxia gathered all the strength he could gather as his wings grew larger and his scythe resonated with power…this was it, this was the gambit. Either this strike killed this centipede or the water wall is broken.

Bauxia struggled to move the scythe as the force it carried was too heavy, even for him. “strike now!” old man xiao shouted at Bauxia. They were slowly getting overpowered by the centipede. Bauxia struggled with all his might as blood dripped from his nose, and he finally struck!

A shockwave spread around as Bauxia, the brothers and everyone else on the battlefield was blown off. The people heard a loud shriek…the queen must be dying! They had won, the damned beast was no more!

Bauxia flapped his wings, going up in the air for confirmation of the kill. What?! I…it wasn’t dead?? The air cleared as everyone could finally see what was actually happening.

The whole body of the queen mother centipede glistened. She had a whole black armor-like material stretched all over her body. The middle body of the armor had a mark in a s***h mark. It was the armor that protected it!

Its body was bare before but now it had an armor protecting it like the warrior centipedes! Bauxia saw this and his will was lost, his wings retarded and he crash landed.

The centipede moved and the people knew the thing they dreaded was near! Lykeson and the waterfall members exerted as much power as they could to make the wall sturdier. But inside, they all knew it would be a waste.

The centipede shrieked and it sounded more like a victorious battle cry. The ground shook as she approached and then she hit the barricade….

Lykeson coughed out blood, granger vomited out a mouthful of blood, the rest of the waterfall members collapsed on the spot. They were so close to defeating the centipedes yet so far….

A loud noise woke the snoring Justin from his peaceful sleep. He cleaned the drool from his mouth and looked around him. He was in the living room of the chief doctor. Damn! He had almost forgotten…the dream he had was too nice. Justin smiled as he remembered the juicy succulent lips he was sucking on.

A loud bang on the disturbed his thought, it kept banging and banging like some crazed psychopath was on the other side.

“who the f**k would be knocking so late at night” Justin mumbled and groaned in frustration. He got up and put on the jacket he had taken off while he slept as he sleep walked 9verbto the door and opened it.

*shriek* a blurry figure launched straight at him going for his fave! “f**k off!” Justin said as he held him back and punched the face of the man. Blood splattered his face and Justin was surprised…green blood? Which man would have green blood??

Justin stood up to get a proper look at the figure. It was a…centipede! “f**k!” justun’ s inner threat detector was off the charts. A centipede! It was a f*****g centipede! His sins had come back to haunt him! How the f**k did a centipede get into the village…A human sized one!

As he wretched at the gross blood on his face, Justin slowly walked over to the door and took a look outside.

What was seen would haunt him his entire life. Low shrieks came from the outside as a bunch of giant centipedes matched for his door! As he looked up, a figure came into view…it was his old nemesis, the first creature he had encountered. It was in its likeness…but bigger and badder!

The queen’s eyes focused on Justin, that was the bastard! She shrieked as she moved her head in Justin’s direction seeming to order them.

Justin immediately closed the door and bolted the locks. “f**k f**k f**k!!” he said with his back rested on the door. What was he to do now?! He had to escape.

Justin thought as he began devising escape plans, “chief, matilda!” s**t! There were still two people in that house apart from him, he couldn’t just let them die for f**k's sake!

Justin's heart raced as he went over to the chief doctor's room and woke him up. The news of centipedes heading for the door was mega alarming to the chief…they could die!

“Chief doctor mutilo, you don’t have have no escape passageways or anything?” Justin asked. In the movies he watched, when it was times like this, the people always had a secret passageway to escape from.

Chief mutilo had a confused look, “secret passageway? What’s that?” he said. He had never heard of any thing like a secret passageway, what was this young man talking about.

Justin’s eyes were wide open…the movies had lied! f**k! *Bang* *Bang* the door made noises as multiple bodies hit it. The locks were threatening to get loose.

Justin immediately looked over in that direction, the time had come!

Meanwhile, kulin jumped down from the platform as he ran straight for his house. Chief, Matilda, Justin, they were all in danger! They had to leave!
