Chapter 11

What was he to do now? The punishment was harsh…mega harsh! He couldn’t afford losing consciousness for a day in this jungle, he couldn’t afford losing his skill too. Also 8 points would be deducted from his stats, he'd be weak as f**k if that happened. Not to mention the other…Blood Spilling Death Dungeon. A chill travelled up his spine just thinking about it. What the f**k what it? Why the f**k did it’s name sound so ominous?! There was no time for rest, he had to act now! For the system to give him such a task, maybe…just maybe, the Taijins wouldn’t be as strong as they believed. Justin immediately went inside and woke up the sleeping kulin “wake up! We've gotta start now” he said in haste. Kulin was still all groggy eyed and he didn’t quite get what Justin said “uh wh…what are you talking about?” kulin said as a yawn escaped his mouth. Justin kept breathing heavily like he was about to die any moment, something that scared kulin. “ we have to Kill the Taijins now” Justin said with a very grim look. “…” kulin was silent ad he processed what Justin said, after a few seconds his eyes widened in astonishment *Are you crazy?!* he had almost screamed those words out at justin but considering the environment they were in, he refrained from doing so. “sir Justin, we really can’t battle the Taijins now, it’s still nightime and there’s not much light for battle” he said in a very mellow tone. He had noticed Justin’s behaviour, like he was a bomb about to blow up anytime so he forgot about his earlier coldness. Maybe he'd see reason in his words and calm down a bit. Justin wasn’t about to sit and listen to kulin blab while his time ran out. Being very decisive he had naturally made up his mind long ago “it’s up to you to help or not. As for me I’m leaving” Justin stated. Since the dude wasn’t ready then like his favourite character once said . He turned his back to kulin and walked out of the tent. Kulin immediately trapped his bow and quiver, gritting his teeth on the way he felt like smacking the living blues out of Justin. He had to help whether he liked it or not. If Justin started fighting the Taijins, it would eventually reach him and he'd be caught up in the fight so it was better yo engage first. But he still tried to convince Justin as he began speaking “Sir, I’m sure whatever it is can wait till daw-” “No it cant!” Justin’s voice cut him off Kulin almost put an arrow through his heart right there and then “Sir in roughly two hours it’ll be dawn. Pls don’t act rashly” kulin retorted. what had come over him? It was like if he didn’t eengage the Taijins he was going to die or something. “I’ve literally only got an hour” justin said. What terrified him was the death dungeon. Fro the system to use something like that as punishment he knew it wasn’t to be taken lightly. Although kulin couldn’t understand what he was going off about one hour he knew Justin couldn’t be convinced anymore “Alright alright, but we stick to the plan. You stay here while I lure the taijins…alright?” If they were going to do this then a plan was at least required. Justin stopped to think for a while then agreed. It was safer than charging headfirst into the Taijins territory. The two agreed on the plan and commenced , Justin stayed back while kulin headed into the Taijins’ base. As kulin went, Justin checked the time he had left. *50mins 23secs*. “god damn! Ten minutes had passed so quickly!” He said as he cursed the system About a minute later, the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard coming in Justin’s direction. Justin looked ahead putting on his game face. He could see kulin running towards him with a huge blurry figure chasing him. *inhale* it wad time for another battle since the centipede. “Now!” kulin’s voice sounded, he was now two metres away. “Fire Dragon punch!” Justin yelled and a familiar feeling spread across his arm. The veins bulged, raging flames grew forming the face of a Dragon. Justin jumped high in the air and descended furiously at the figure chasing kulin. Kulin didn't need to be told what to do, he immediately dived sideways avoiding being impacted by the pinch. *boom* Fire spread around as soon as Justin descended on the creature. The punch split the Taijins head in half, frying them both along with its brain matter. The heatwave blew away the tent, burning all the nearby bushes. Kulin looked at justin in awe…this man was strong! If he had not hidden behind a tree he could have been affected by the fire too. Justin stood up from his superhero pose as he looked at the damage he had caused. “pfft” he blew some breeze on his knuckles extinguishing the little flame on it. “One down, fifty to go” he said as his mouth curled up in a smug smile. One by one the Taijins fell, Justin and kulin got caught up in the fun, even to the extent of toying with the Taijins! They got more and more stylish in the masterful destruction. A particular one Justin decided he was to lure the taijin, have a feel of it. While kulin hid on top of a tree with his poison coated arrows ready to deliver death. The area around had become unrecognizable, owing to the multiple fire dragon punches Justin had conjured. *Ding* the system's notification came up causing a broad smile on Justin’s face. He thought he had probably completed the task the system gave him. With all the time that had passed it was finally he's turn to reap the rewards. But he was in for it! *15 minutes remaining* *Taijins killed 28/50 * “…”
