Outside the house, the chief doctor handed some items down to kulin for the journey and explained the effects to justin“ here this’ the gonzu balm; Rub it on any injured body part and itll heal in a day's time. This one is the scent leaf, it'll help you mask your scent and blend in with animals. Here's the booster, it’ll temporarily your strength. Use it only in dire situations” he finished giving the items to kulin and sent his well wishes to them. After this the two finally left the village for the konlu forest.

In a part Wonpas village, a big building bigger than the rest around it lay. It was the Harold family residence. They were one of the most prominent families in the village. Harold Zutino looked at his son who was currently stuffing himself with food. Gustav was the Apple of his eye, the only child given to him by his wife . Anything Gustav asked for Harold gave which now lead to the current situation. That sly chief doctor thohght he could get out of this sitiation because of the help of one man, well he was gonna get matilda for his son one way or another. Even if it involved taking someone's life!

Four men dressed in black clothes wearing hairbands with a black and gold letter C logo on it stood as they took instructions from Harold. “ you know what you’re to do. Make sure the chief doctor's apprentice and that here haired boy don’t make it back with any herb. It’s quite impossible anyway but you four must make sure it never happens. Kill them if required!” harold said, dipping his hand into his pocket he brought out a small pouch “ here, it’s 50 manbres. Half of your pay. You’ll get the rest when the job is done” he handed them the pouch and retreated into his house. The four men stared at the pouch as malicious smiles covered their faces. They were gonna earn some easy money!

Wonpas village,

There existed a boundary line where the Wonpas village territory stopped. After that boundary line was the famed konlu forest. It was calm and serene during the day with the chirping of birds giving it a somewhat pleasant air. Trees as tall as the eyes could see coated the forest.

“follow my steps” kulin said as he led Justin through the forest path. Ever since yesterday Justin felt like kulin had been giving him the cold shoulder. He wasn’t sure if it was because of what happened that day…did he like Matilda perhaps? He refused to believe that so he tried to initiate some small talk “ hey, so what the pla-“ “ssshh” kulin stopped him from talking , putting a finger on his lips he carefully surveyed the surroundings.

Justin frowned at this, what the f**k was his problem anyway. He was trying to make everything better and her the guy was, shushing him! “ hey dude, you maybe mad but let’s not let this affect ou-“ he was about to continue despite kulin's warning when * roar* A huge figure launched at him unexpectedly. Kulin immediately aimed his bow at the animal, releasing an arrow that pierced straight into it’s heart. It groaned fell heavily to the ground. Another arrow from kulin’s bow then ended it.

Justin was shocked Still, he had watched his two lives flash before his eyes. He looked at what had attacked him, it was an animal with a cheetahs physique with two black curved horns on it's head. It’s teeth protruded from it’s mouth and it’s eyes that were wide open had red spots on them. Justin felt the cold stare of kulin directed right at him, “ Be careful” kulin said “the herigogorns roam this part of the jungle. If you’re not careful you’ll die before you know it.” He continued in his tracks after saying that like he couldn’t give a f**k about Justin.

Justin walked quietly behind him, he decided to keep to himself. After what had happened he felt it was better to just follow him without trying anything else. The two journeyed on for the day, killing various beasts along the way. Justin gradually got a bit used to the jungle lifestyle. Finally they reached the middle region of the forest, the Taijins abode. Although he wasn’t on talking terms with Justin, kulin still went over the plan with him. He couldn’t afford any loose ends. And Justin was also a crucial part to the plan too.

The plan went like This, kulin would go in stealthily and scout out how many of the Taijins were there. With that info he would lure the Taijins one by one outside of the base where he and Justin would finish them off. This’ll continue until the region was clear of the Taijins, then they’d be free to take as many dry water herbs as they wamted…what could possibly go wrong?

The plan was to commence by morning so the two cleared out an area 15metres away from the Taijins region and set camp there, taking turns every three hours to keep watch. Justin sat outside the tent while kulin lay inside sleeping. As he himself was feeling quite sleepy he decided to take a small nap…*Ding!* the system notification tone sounded pulling Justin from his sleep. He looked up at the screen that had appeared *Time attack task: Clear all Taijins in the area. Time given : 1 hour. Taijins killed: 0/51

Punishment; if task is not completed within the given time frame the host will lose consciousness for 1 full day. A random learned skill will be deleted. Five points will also be deducted from all stats. Lastly, host will be sent to death dungeon.

Silence…total silence! Justin had completely blanked out! What the f**k was This? Time attack? Punishment? The system had a punishment for the task…and he wasn’t even given a choice of accepting or not! It had automatically begun!
