Chapter 25

Justin looked at the chain he held, why did it feel so heavy? Also, he remembered it a lot longer than this. What he held was a necklace, not a chain!

“system, is it a necklace or the f*****g emperor's chain you have me?” Justin said to the system

*what the host holds now is the emperor's chain and not a necklace*

“Then why the f**k is it so short?!” Justin was furious, was this what he was gonna use to defeat these two beasts?

*The Emperor's chain's length varies according to the user’s strength. Host is currently too weak to wield the full power of the emperor's chain* the system responded in its usual voice but this time, the monotone voice was mixed with a hint of mockery.

Justin had no time to argue with the system, the centipedes were charging with their damned heads again! He was clueless on how to even use the chain. It had come to him so naturally in the jungle but the time was very different. He could even hurt himself while wielding it.

“f**k it!” He couldn’t afford to waste time, he had to act now. The centipedes reared their heads, one charging at Justin, the other at kulin.

Justin raised the chain with all his might and wiped the head of the centipede. A deep dent was made on its iron head and the force behind the chain sent it flying as it landed heavily to the floor.

Justin looked at the chain in amazement. Even though this wasn’t its full power, it was still powerful enough to knock back the warrior centipede…wonderful!

Justin brought the fight to the centipede as he ran towards it and slammed the chain once again on its iron head. *shriek* the warrior centipede screamed in pain as the chain broke its armor and penetrated the head. Its spikes coming out of the spot right between the eyes.

Seeing as the centipede hadn’t died yet, Justin raised the chain again and went for the kill this time. Green sticky blood splattered everywhere announcing the crushed head of a warrior centipede.

A surprising notification cane immediately after Justin brutalized the centipede. He had suddenly been awarded a thousand exp…for such an easy kill!

“Justin watch out!” kulin's voice sounded and Justin looked back to see what he was talking about. The warrior centipede kulin had been fighting left him and charged for Justin!

An enlarging head came into view as Justin quickly dodged . The head hit a nearby rock and crushed it into pieces. Justin's heart skipped a beat, If he had been hit by that he would had surely died!

“b***h!” Justin screamed and jumped, slamming the heavy chain right on the centipede. A dent wasn’t made this time, rather, the spike penetrated from the middle section of the centipedes body right to the head as it split it in two halves. It had delivered a fast and swift death!

*Ding* *Double kill! Class B rank centipede killed. 1500xp awarded* another notification came up awarding him xp.

Justin was surprise, the system had never worked like this…what happened? Well whatever happened to make the system feel generous enough, he appreciated it and was gonna seize the opportunity! If he could keep killing then he could earn a large amount of so!

A cruel villainous smile formed on justin’s lips. Looking at the rest of the centipedes, all he could see was xp in crawling form. He just had to free the xp from the crawling bodies and the only way he could do so was by burying hos chains deep in them!

“hahahaha” Justin enjoyed the feeling as he spun the chain around in circles , killing any centipede that happened to be caught in his path to destruction.

He kept hearing notification as he cleared his way through the ranks of the centipedes. He was literally coated in blood!

The centipede had chosen the wrong dude to mess with. He was gonna kill every single one of them!

Old man ling and old man Xiao watched the green haired boy from atop the cottage's roof. So young yet so fierce…so powerful! The boy was killing the centipedes like they were ants, he even seemed to enjoy it!

“I think I just found a suitable candidate ” old man Xiao whispered to old man ling. His brother was taken aback “Don’t tell me you…”

Kulin stood watching Justin m******e the pitiful centipedes. This man got crazier and crazier everyday! What kind of weapon is it that he held? It came out of nowhere and dominated the entire centipede battalion…sick!

The notification came just as Justin killed the final centipede.

“ah, its all over now” Justin wiped his face as he kicked the body of a centipede away from him. “god I hate these things” the sight of the centipede invoked a deep hatred in him.

As soon as he killed the last centipede, the queen mother arrived. Her figure casted a huge shadow on the cottages grounds. A furious shriek came out of the queen centipede's mouth hole seeing the bodies of her beloved army littering the ground.

They died at the hands of that bastard. First he killed her son, now he killed her army! This is a debt to be related by death!

The stats of the centipede rang in justin's head, he had forgotten about this function of the system! ‘But wait…queen mother Mutated centipede? If I remember correctly, the first centipede I killed was named Baby mutated centipede….’

A look of realization filled justin's face as a thought hit him. This centipede was the mother of the first centipede he had killed!
