how will i tell nixie? or should i even tell her at all? should i even tell her the truth? she has no clue where she comes from she feels like she doesn't belong here and she's right. but since her memory has been washed.... sigh.... i'll worry about that later. there's no way im going to tell her right now.

not when she finally looks at ease.

as i looked at nixie something weird happen smelt of something i wouldn't normally smell on the surface. a smell only mer people can smell.

i sniffed to find where it might of been coming from but i couldn't with this wind blowing in all directions.

i know i have smelt that sent before but that was years ago before i left my home in the sea. bah whatever i'll think later i just want to enjoy this moment with my friend.

nixie: hey, moana "yeah" she said. do you ever feel like you don't belong.

(she looks at nixie with worry)

moana: what do you mean?

nixie: sigh, it's nothing.

moana: no, explain nixie!

nixie: it really is nothing, i was just curious.

moana: OK girl, don't start getting dark on me now OK.

nixie: lol i won't i'm here to change and to change for the better. i said with a smile.

moana: speaking of change. i set up a place for you to talk to Alex.

nixie: crap....OK where or when?

moana: tomorrow at 7:00pm on the roof top of the resort.

the rest of the day was uneventful, nothing special happened. everyone got settled into their rooms, ate dinner and went to bed as we all had a long tiring day.

the next morning

nixie: today is the day nixie. you will tell Alex how you feel and you will not run away this time.

as i was talking to myself i smelt something odd i went around my room trying to find the smell but it vanished as i reached my balcony doors.

how odd whatever smell that was it smells familiar but i cant put my finger on it. oh well its probably from all this stress and anxiety sigh it'll be OK.....i'll be OK.

moana: NIXIE!!!!

i turn around to a overly excited moana while covering my ears

nixie: Lord Jesus moana what's with the high pitched squeal!

moana: look!!! James theo was caught at the restaurant few blocks from here isn't that exciting!!

maybe i could bump into him and we fall madly in love with each other at 1st sight and he'll whisk me away to happily ever after.

nixie: aaahahahahahhahahahahahahhhahahahhahahahahaha

moana: -_- with a straight face

nixie : oh you'er serious..well i mean it's possible. but you're 17 and he's well like 30.

moana: damn right lol an age is nothing but a number (" especially since i'm a mermaid") could you imagine me as Mrs James theo. oh how i wish i could meet you theo. she kisses the picture in the magazine.

nixie: well, you said he was spotted just a few blocks from here. why don't you go and see?

moana: you really think so? i mean i'm going to college next year an there's no telling when i'll be back an if he rejects me?

nixie: then at least you tried and confessed your feelings right and no matter what there's someone out there for you an screw him if he rejects you. because it's his loss. "even if he's hella older then you". lol

moana: sniff* you're right!! here i come James look out cause mommas coming!!

( as she stood up and clamped her fist)

moana: i'm going to go stalk my future husband.

nixie: face palms* i mean there's other ways to go about this situation but if it works for you. then go for it.

(giving moana a thumbs up)

moana: thank you nixie!! you know people really don't see how unique you are and special you are. she winked.

nixie: *blush* you have to say that cause you're my friend.

moana: no, i say that because i am your friend and one day people will see.

as moana walked out the door to chase down her crush i felt something was a little off for moana anyway she's never been self conscience especially when it comes to guys nor has she ever been nervous or scared but this time it was different. i wonder what was going through her mind when she said that. "hmm" tik tik i heard the clock

it's almost time tho so let me get ready. let's do this. i was feeling more confident then ever.
