Chapter One
Kimberly gasped the moment she opened the door of room 97 of Helson’s Suites. She brought her hand to her mouth and her eyes widened like she just saw a terrifying ghost. What was happening inside the room was literally a nightmare to any woman.
Ryan Foster, the man she loved and her legal husband, was in bed, completely in the buff with a fetching red-haired beauty who was moaning like it was nobody’s business.
“Ahh~! Yes, Ryan, f*ck. So good. Harder baby. Yes, deeper. Nngh~! Mmm~!”
“Kylie, you’re so sweet and tight. I wish time would just stop forever.” She heard Ryan say amidst grunts.
Both were sweating profusely; it was as if the ventilation in the room wasn’t working. The bed itself was no longer supported on four legs- proof of how intense their workout was.
“Ryan?!” Kimberly cried out, tears flowing down her eyes.
This got the duo’s attention and they turned to look at her. Neither of them looked shocked.
“What are you doing here? Want to join in the fun? Unfortunately, my c*ck desires one person, and you can see it’s in its rightful place.” Ryan said with a devilish smirk, pounding into the woman from behind, ignoring completely Kimberly’s presence.
“Ryan, how could you do this to me?! I’m your wife!” Kimberly cried, pointing to herself with a trembling right index finger.
“That’s on paper. You know I only married you because of my grandpa. I needed my inheritance, so I agreed to marry a low life like you, Kimberly. Have you forgotten what you were before climbing the ladder of riches through our marriage? You were a maid, a lowly pauper. You saved my grandpa and he decided to force me into marrying you as a display of his stupid gratitude. Grandpa is gone, so there is no need to hide anymore. It’s good you came. You thought I wouldn’t know you put a tracker on me?” he grinned, slapping the redhead’s butt while ramming into her like crazy.
Kimberly felt it was a painful sight to watch, so she turned to look elsewhere. However the sounds of skin harshly slapping against each other and the woman’s shameless and fevered moans grated her ears so bad.
She felt like she was the third wheel here- the unwanted one, and that was how the reality was. Her husband had done her dirty, cheating on her with Kylie Sebastian, his secretary.
“You’ve been coming home late. Many times, you said you would sleep at the office. And whenever you came home, I smelled a woman’s perfume on you, Ryan. What do you expect? Even though I was poor before I married you, I never wasted your money. I saved the little allowances you gave to me and fulfilled the duties of a wife.” Kimberly cried.
“s*x with you is not the same as s*x with her. As you can see, she moans much better than you, and her p***y is much sweeter. You are nothing but dry land who can’t even bear a child. Why should I keep wasting my precious seeds in a desert?”
“You’re calling me barren? Ryan, the medical report says I’m fit to have a child,” she disputed angrily.
“And mine doesn’t?” he raised a brow in askance. Kimberly was at a loss for words but not Ryan.
He continued, “Dear Kylie here is already pregnant for me.”
Hearing this, Kimberly staggered backwards, nearly falling if not for the wall she used as support.
“Ryan… What did I ever do to…”
The impatient Ryan cut her off. “Enough of your boring drama. Look in the drawer, and sign the document. You have just one million as alimony. It should be more than enough to set up a small business. And never show your ugly face in front of me again, Kimberly.”
The dejected silver-haired woman turned to look at the entangled duo and wiped off her tears with her sleeves.
“What is this?” she took out a bottle from her gown’s pocket. It had no label and contained a few tiny white pills.
“Oh, you found that too. It’s no big deal, just some birth control pills. I can’t have a useless woman like you have my child. Who knows if the poor child will turn out to be hideous and an imbecile? Just hurry up and sign. There’s a card atop the cabinet, take it too. It contains your alimony.” Ryan didn’t say any more words to Kimberly after that.
Instead, he shamelessly increased the rate of his thrusts, causing Kylie to scream in delight, her eyes rolling to the back of her head.
Just seeing them was comparable to multiple stabs on the chest. Kimberly’s lips quivered as hot tears freely ran down her cheeks. She stooped to pick up her fallen purse from the floor and headed to the bedside cabinet. Pulling out the drawer, she found the divorce agreement. There was also a white high-end pen atop it.
Sniffing, she took out the papers and wiped her tears with her sleeves once again. Then without reading the contents, she signed the necessary parts and threw it on the floor.
“I’m done.” She put the bank card in her purse and sniffed.
“Off you go, golddigger,” Kylie said amidst feverish moans. “Oh, f*ck Ryan. Ahhh~! Yes, f*ck me, baby. You’re so good. Ahhh~! Keep hitting that spot darling,”
“Yes, I will, my dear kitten.” Said Ryan with a lustful look in his blue eyes.
“Ryan, you will regret this. I promise you that.” With that, she stormed out of the room, slamming the door hard behind her.
“Good riddance. Now let me show you what Ryan Foster can do. You’re going to forget your own name, Kylie,” she heard her ex-husband say from inside the room. She knew he was being deliberately loud so she could hear him. She heard the woman with him chuckle and encourage him to ruin her.
At that, Kimberly couldn’t stand it anymore. She stormed off.
…
As she ran out of the hotel still wiping off her tears, she threw the key of the car that she’d driven here at the car’s window. Then, she quickly flagged down a taxi.
“Where to, ma’am?” asked the driver who was in his fifties.
“Foster’s residence,” she replied with a dejected tone.
She looked at her right hand and saw that the diamond ring was still on her ring finger. She quickly wind down the glass and threw it out.
She then wind the glass back up and rested her head on her palm. The horrible scene of Ryan with his d**k inside another woman kept flashing in her head.
The way he even f****d that woman… he never f****d her with that much passion. Whenever they made love at home, he only did one round and said he was tired. And she never complained, believing the day’s work was really taking a toll on him. As a dutiful wife, she shouldn’t pressure him too much.
Besides, she had been feeling guilty for the past three years because she hadn’t even had a miscarriage much less a baby.
She’d done everything to please him and save the marriage, but as soon as grandpa died, he showed his true self. He had been cheating on her for a while now and played her like a fool. To him, she was nothing more than a pauper. Someone who only deserved to sleep in the gutters.
Today, he divorced her and gave her just one million as alimony. A million wasn’t even enough to buy her favourite lipstick, much less a doormat back at her family’s house.
“Ryan Foster, for doing me dirty like this, I swear, just as I made you rise up, I will crush you beyond doubt, and you will kneel before me one day.” She swore through clenched teeth, trying hard to hold back her tears.
No, she shouldn’t shed tears for a scum like that. He wasn’t worth it. She just loved the wrong person and wasted three precious years of her life on a scoundrel like him.
