Chapter 3

Ronald smiled immediately. He didn't expect Audrey to accept his request. Given that Jerry's performance was also good at helping the company progress. "Okay, I'll keep your words in mind. Think of it as your repayment to me, because as long as you are here, you are my responsibility." Audrey's eyes widened, thinking Ronald was not sincere in helping her. "Ronald, you really are too much! It's true what Jerry said about you, that everything you do has a purpose." Hearing those words, Ronald immediately got up. Both hands grabbed Audrey's chin and lifted her up. "Dear Miss Audrey, How many times have I told you not to mention that loser's name in my presence? It's just me and you here. One more time you bring it up, and I'll leave you here!" Ronald's tone was loud and harsh. It made Audrey shudder in horror. Her sexy body trembled, looking terrified. Her face became pale but still charming. Her mouth dared not make a sound. A few minutes later, Ronald lowered his hand from Audrey's chin. Then he lay down with his back to Audrey. The situation at that time made Audrey feel awkward. She peeked slightly at Ronald's face. She felt uncomfortable and guilty. Actually, Ronald knew that. But he let it go. It was because that was the only way Audrey's heart could soften. Sure enough, after a few moments of closing his eyes, he felt an arm around his waist from behind. Who else if not Audrey? Ronald deliberately did not want to turn his head before Audrey said something. The touch of the soft hand felt even tighter. It made him feel how firm Audrey's plump breasts were. It made Ronald's heart beat irregularly. He tried to hold back his lust by biting his lip. "Ronald, are you still mad at me? You can't be quiet yet because I hear voices." Audrey's voice sounded scared. Finally, Ronald heard Audrey's voice reopen the conversation. He immediately turned around and returned Audrey's hug. Now they were hugging each other. "That sound? Maybe it's just the sound of insects around us." Ronald listened carefully because he didn't know what that sound was. He just wanted to comfort Audrey. Ronald brought Audrey's body closer to his chest. This time the girl didn't struggle for long. "Actually, I'm not sure what you're saying. Try checking the security here. I'm scared if it's a wild animal," Audrey complained. In this situation, Audrey no longer seemed so haughty. "Alright, I'll check it out." Ronald's voice sounded defeated. He didn't really want to find out the source of the voice. All he was doing at the moment was to calm Audrey down. After that quick check, Ronald returned to the cave. "It's nothing. I'll hold you until morning. So if anything happens, I can help you quickly." Audrey just nodded in resignation. Then she pressed her body into Ronald's embrace. After a while, Audrey's voice was no longer heard. That meant she had fallen asleep. Ronald also closed his eyes. His body was too tired to think about all the things that had happened to him. When Ronald woke up again, it was already morning. It seemed to him that the night had been so short. He thought it was normal to be tired. But Audrey was still asleep. Not wanting to wake her, Ronald carefully released her embrace. Unfortunately, Audrey felt it. "Ronald, where are you going? Are you leaving me?" asked Audrey while rubbing her eyes. She didn't seem to realize it was morning. Ronald quickly snapped her out of it. "I just want to have breakfast. I'm already hungry." "Breakfast?" Audrey's tone was surprised. Her mouth dropped open as if her jaw was about to drop. She immediately got up and looked outside the cave. "Sorry, I didn't know it was morning." The mountain was very cold and dark due to the lush trees. Even the morning still looked like night. Turning away from that, Robert's stomach heard the sound of Audrey's stomach that seemed to be calling for immediate filling. Robert quickly opened the suitcase. He took bread and offered it to Audrey. "Eat it first." Audrey accepted it and her eyes accidentally saw small animals on the bread wrapper. She reflexively threw them at Ronald. "Don't you need any more food? Why did you throw it away?" Ronald's voice was stern. He didn't like it when someone wasted food. "It's not like that. Look, that bread wrapper has been swarmed by small animals. "Audrey pointed with disgust. Robert quickly picked it up. He noticed a small ant-like animal gnawing on the bread wrapper until it had a hole. He didn't know what the animal was called. What was clear was that this was the first time he had seen it, and it had a strange shape. He didn't pay attention when he picked it up early. To ensure the safety of the other food, he checked one by one the remaining food wrappers. "Damn it!" Robert threw four loaves of bread on the ground. "That animal attacked almost all of our food supply. There's only one packet of bread and chips." Audrey suddenly snatched the packet of bread and chips from Ronald's hand, "No problem. Leave the food to me. I'll share them with you too." Ronald realized that Audrey had a good side. If it wasn't for that little animal, he would never have known the girl's true attitude. After getting his share, he ate it with gusto. While enjoying the food, Audrey took the time to ask, "Ronald, our food supply has run out. We also have very little water to drink. Should we look for something else to consume?" This got Robert thinking. A few moments after that, he came up with an opinion, "I have an idea! What if we go to the river where you were stranded? After all, we can pick up the passengers' belongings that are still decent. Who knows, there might be more food supplies." "I agree!" Audrey exclaimed enthusiastically. The atmosphere was much better than yesterday. Robert enthusiastically invited Audrey to start the search. The distance between the cave where he spent the night and the ruins of the Jet Airlines was not too far. That made it quick to arrive. Ronald uncovered the scattered debris of the Jet Airlines body. The fishy smell of blood immediately came out, disturbing his sense of smell. Finally, he climbed onto a partially intact passenger seat. Looking carefully, he finally found what he was looking for. "I finally got it!" Ronald shouted and immediately jumped to the ground. His attitude worried Audrey, "Ronald! Don't be such a child! If you fall and get sick, what about me later?" Just as Ronald was about to answer, the bushes under the big tree shook. He saw that some of the passengers' bodies were missing. In his mind it was a wild animal. 'Could my voice here be inviting wild animals to come?' Robert knew that Audrey was not aware of this. He quickly hugged the girl and asked her to hide.
