CHAPTER EIGHT

Bruce was not just any man or let me say any random guy, he was like a god,his physical appearance was just something else, I was being drawn to him and I was not liking the idea I think I was falling for him.
Those hazel eyes, the pointed nose, those thick pink lips of his, the white perfect teeth, the wispy beard which was well trimmed, the sideburns, his skin was fair and toned,he was brown in complexion with the thick eye brows, the broad shoulders which only meant he was a regular customer at the gym he was such an epitome of beauty.
I kept stealing glances at him as we drove back home, and Ruby couldn't stop giving me those funny faces through the rearview mirror. As Bruce made his way to use the gear lever, his hands brushed mine slightly and I felt the sparkles surging through my body leaving a trail of some strange feeling which made me uncomfortable. Bruce realised that I wasn't comfortable and he muttered a sorry which I just nodded, I was busy trying not to look at his side because he made the air between us so tight and I felt like I was suffocating and getting drawn to him.
"Do you mind some music?" He asked to ease the tension
"No of course no, let me get a compact disc which has the best playlist" I said as I looked through the glove compartment. I found the CD player which had the best 2016 mix of songs,music matters. After inserting, 'pillow talk' by Zayn Malik came through, I started singing along to the songs one by one and Bryce smiled.
"What?" I asked while smiling
"Nothing you look beautiful when you sing, I bet I just like watching you sing" he said and my fave flushed rosy.
"Aawh seems like we got a new couple in town" Ruby said and I gave her a death glare
"Ooh just shut up Ruby , you're always sassy, can you just be honorific for once"
"Whatever by the way I just forgot to mention that you guys look cute together, my thoughts though no offense" she said throwing her arms in the air as a sign of surrendering and I laughed hard.
"Ruby are you still this way even after all those years?" Bruce asked and she chuckled softly
"Like what Mr?, Have I changed or have I grown some wings all of a sudden?,enlighten me" she said in a sarcastic tone and I couldn't help but laugh, Ruby was always dramatic
"Whatever but maybe what you saying is true" Bruce said and I stared at him blankly and he gave the 'what?' look
"What? She's just saying the truth sweetheart, anyway are you done with school yet?"
"Nope not yet, but almost" I said as I fished my phone from my clutch back ,I wanted to get busy and avoid his gaze
"Ooh the same year as Ruby I guess?"
"Yeah"
"Ooh that's great I'm in campus, still in my freshman year though, campus is fun I wish you guys could join us soon"
"We will just one year ahead and we will be there before you know it" Ruby said.
I logged in my perfect match account to text my found stranger but he was offline, his last seen said two hours earlier but I still wanted to reply to his text before he I logged out.
"Perfect match site, what are you doing there?" Bruce asked and I almost sneered, the guy was being all petty and snoopy for nothing
"You are being snoopy" I said and he chuckled
"What? no! I'm not being snoopy it's just that your phone was on your thighs and I couldn't just stop admiring them,very appetizing"
"You are so naughty and nasty Bruce,just shut up I'm trying to focus here"
"Focusing on a dating site app, that's funny but anyway Brianna how old are you?"
"Huh you think I'll answer that, suit yourself" I said and he laughed hard.
"Just one hour and you guys are already having stupid couple fights, I love this, when is the wedding Mr and Mrs Stone?"
"Shut up Ruby you making it worse"
We were driving at a moderate speed towards our gate.
"Why don't you drop me home first I'll come for the bag tomorrow?" Ruby said and Bruce nodded
He slowed down and parked the car just at the gate and I helped them carrying their bags, dropped them at the door and Bruce drove me home. He parked the car in the parking lot and helped me carry the shopping bags to the door. I bid him farewell and as I turned to ring the doorbell he pulled me close to him and my heart beat accelerated, I felt it beating profusely against my chest, he looked straight in my eyes and I could see the way his eyes were looking at me with pure desire and lust, a sparkle of love, I was lost in them for while, he brought his fingers close to my cheeks and drew an imaginary line which left a trail of sparkles against my skin, he brought his lips close to mine and my eyes closed automatically, it was like I was waiting for him to kiss me, he planted his lips on mine and I inhaled deeply
I felt the cold breeze brush off my lips and he suddenly kissed me, I felt like the ground down was opening like I was floating in the air, he kissed me for a few seconds but I didn't kiss him back, I was weighing in between kissing him back and forgetting everything or just standing there, he suddenly grabbed my ass cheeks and when I gasped which gave him access to my mouth, he kissed me deeply and I didn't hesitate, I kissed him back with all I had.
We kissed for a bout one minutes before the door was opened and Eileen gasped at the sight in front of her, I thank God it was none of my parents who found me kissing a stranger in front of our porch.
"I'm sorry for that" we said both at the same time and I felt embarrassed, was I becoming too cheap? Kissing a random stranger I met just a few hours ago?
"I couldn't just help myself, you're so beautiful and sexy, I'm not sorry for kissing you but I'm sorry for letting that happen in front of your porch, I would have done that in the car" he said that and my inner girl twirled in happiness, so the kiss wasn't accidental but he wanted to kiss me, good thing I didn't initiate the kiss.
"Ooh it's okay, I bet I should get inside" I said trying to avoid his gaze and he realised that, he smiled.
"No don't get shy Brianna, I like you and I don't regret doing that, I'll see you then, I saved my number in your phone, don't hesitate to call me okay?" He said and turned to leave he gave smiled and waved at me, I nodded,picked the shopping bags from the floor and went inside.
"Hey dad, hey mom?" I said immediately after getting inside
"Hey princess, you're back, where are you from?" My mom asked
"Yeah went to the mall with Ruby, just got back"
"Ooh okay honey, why don't you freshen up and prepare yourself, we're having visitors in an hours time, your mom will talk to you about that, welcome home baby" my dad said and I smiled, walked to where they were and gave each of them a small hug and kiss on their cheeks, I called for Eileen immediately i sat on my bed.
I knew she had lots of questions regarding the situation she found Bruce and I in, I had to fill her in before she drew her own conclusions.
