Mysterious Call

An enormous resonation of a bell created a shout to every student that can't handle the excitement of going home. I passed to various rooms and various crowded hallways. They went back to the gate to head to each of their houses along the streets. While I came to the opposite direction to find Davin and surprise him. I never thought how different my relationship is now compared to the previous.
Aelius being so arrogant with no hint of emotion around the corner of his face. Always serious and prefers to push me away frequently.
"Lius! I've got something for you" I exclaimed as I hid my gift behind my back.
"It's not even my birthday. I'm going out, don't bother me"
"Oh come on! Giving gifts doesn't need special occasion to be given. I just want to thank you for protecting me back there!"
"Protecting you doesn't mean anything. I just don't want others to think I'm weak. Don't put anything with meanings"
Geez!!!! Really this guy doesn't know how to be honest!!!!
He looked away as she pushed me off for him to leave yet seeing his ears similar to an engine that fused out a steam never stopped me to tease him a little more. I gripped his hand and opened it to give him directly and he has no reason to refuse even if he wants to throw it away.
I dashed out with embarrassment for giving such childish gifts reflects the attitude of the sender.
"I hope he treasures that teddy bear"
Then after the next day, I attempt to go inside the detention room. Before entering a trashcan beside the door displayed a similar thing I would never forget. Teddy bear?
Beside it is a letter that was crumpled.
Did he really hate it that much.
I went back with tears stuck at my eyes yet before I could step one more time I heard voices behind the edge of the hallway.
"Aelius, why did you threw it" he asked and it was Davin, that voice of his is easy to distinguish.
Don't tell me their talking about the teddy bear?

"Dude don't play what games, I'm talking about the teddy bear"

Sometimes I don't know which side I'm at.
But it's quite understandable for that gift really is childish, if I'm a man I would throw it also. But if it's something that was made purely with passion and emotions, shouldn't it be treasured.
"What if I am? You're not even bothered an inch. You're not like this, what happened to the Aelius I know."
"Don't question others if you're the same. What happened to the Davin that fairly judges both sides. Enough, I'm not only the president of this institute, I have other duties. The company is calling. Just take her if you want her."
A soft sweet lips touched my forehead that ended that flashed memory. When I looked up a guy with circle glasses and russet wavy fringe hair gasped my eyes.
"Davin!" I jumped at him with a tight embrace while he let out a chuckle. He is far different from that robot-fleshed bast*Rd.
"You're lucky no one's here" He teased and I remembered that I was giving something to him. I released him but instead of bringing the surprise that I was about to give him. He didn't let me go.
"Let's stay like this for a while"
"Eh?!!!" My eyes went dizzy for a moment as the heat went up to my head.
I can't take this anymore!!!! This tomato is going to explode!!!!!
"Why, you don't want to?" He sulked like a puppy.
"I don't, rather I love it!" I hugged once more and at the moment our face was only an inch away, I kissed him..... At his cheeks of course.
We both heard a ring tone from his phone, now that's a good way to ruin the mood.
"I think you need to answer that" I suggested when he still didn't dared to get out at this position. Even I don't want to!!!!
"My duty hours is done so my time is all for you now" he whispered at my ears.
I can't take it anymore!!! My heart is escaping my ribs!!!!!
"So you're not going to answer it?" A deep dull voice interrupted. I immediately pushed him away to avoid anymore embarrassment. Also to undisturb his clean image of being a vice president.
We both fixed ourselves, pulled out our uniform, brushed of some dust and straighten up our stance as if nothing ever happened between us. I look at someone who interrupted us who clearly has a bitter life for not having a sweetness of a lover experience and smiled. Yet the person I have been avoiding and must constantly do so is in front of my eyes already
Instead of a smile I curved my lips lightly even if it appeared as a bitter welcome.
"I apologize. Looks like there's something both of you need to discuss so I'll head out." I glanced at Davin who is currently displeased with a usage of puppy eyes asking to not leave him.
"Just meet me outside at the gate, bye". I scattered out of his sight, I can still feel his eyes following until I vanish.
While waiting outside, something vibrated from my pocket. It's from my phone, who may be calling me at this hour. Is it Davin?
Without further hesitation, I cleared my throat, without looking at the number of that person I instantly answered.
"So how did it went?" I chimed.
"Fine, I guess. How about you? Laurel?" He asked with a rusty voice.
My cheerfulness trait downcasted with my shoulder, how on earth does he know?!!!!
I took a deep breath and tried not to lose composure. I must act innocent as possible.
" I think you dialed the wrong number sir."
"Oh, I'm surely not mistaken Laurel or specifically, Daphne?"

Laurel is the name I used after applying as one of the Grifinhoods. A company under the mayor's control. I used to joined this for the sake of fulfilling my sister's wish and to know what she had been through under their command. Yet from all of those excuse I also want to know If she undergoed a suicide or perhaps a murder case.
Still the point is it hasn't happened at my recent life. I never even told anyone and I have no plans of joining either!!!!

What on earth just happened?!
Everything is messed up.
First that so called bast*Rd president came early and now receiving this awful call. If this changes occurs to much, I might fail even at this second chance. I won't have the ability to predict the events if this keeps on.
