Chapter 10Evelyn That morning Cory was called into work to cover for someone whose wife went into early labor, so Evelyn was left with time on her hands once again. The house wasn’t in need of another cleaning already, so she wandered around in search of some way to entertain herself. No sewing machine, not even an ironing board in sight.
