Chapter 15

Scarletts POV

I woke up on the floor and confused. I was trying hard to think where i was and suddenly this young boy says “Hi im jason you were asleep for so long i thought you were dead.” I gave a groggy smile and said “why are you here sweet jason?” and he said im not a prisoner i just feed you guys its my job unless they are too dangerous to go near.” i just nod and ask him were we are and he said “well we are in the blackpaw  pack and our alpha is a nutso” and giggled and i smiled and said “i wish i was home King Gabriel is going to be so mad” and i saw him lose a little bit of color and he ran out!! A couple of minutes later a tall man came in  grabbed a chair and brought it next to my cell and with his eyebrow lifted he said “why did you tell this boy that King Gabriel would be mad?” I looked at him why should you care you kidnapped me and put me in a cell when he finds me he will bring hell to this pack” and his face was stunned and he asked “A-a-are y-y-you h-hi-his mate?” and i nodded with a smile. He got up and the chair fell back and said why would he bring you here has he gone mad? Does he not care about us? He turned back and he said im so sorry i had no idea im gonna call his majesty and tell him your here and i dont want no harm to come to my pack!! He called to one of his guards and told them to bring me to the pack house and get me settled in that we are not a threat and im a  royal guest. The guard was looking at me a slightly bowed and said “sorry … “ i said “Princess Scarlett Gabriels mate.” He looked taken aback and said “Excuse me?” i smiled and giggled at his reaction and nodded “ I am prince gabriel's mate and i will tell him you treated me very well” and he nodded saying “ right this way princess and thank you, that could save our pack from destruction for harboring a mate no less the soon to be kings mate!!!” I just looked at him and nodded smiling. They took me towards the packhouse and i saw so many kids and they ran up to us and a little boy said “Hi who are you lady?” and i crouched down and said “ hi my name is Scarlett and im here as a guest. Do you want to meet the king? He should be here soon and we can all play!!” His face lit up and started asking so many questions i couldnt understand him he was so happy and i smiled and he stopped asking questions and said “do you think we could go with you we have no parents and i get sad sometimes because even  tho they treat us very good here i want a mommy and daddy!” “Oh honey we can try to get homes with a mommy and daddy, ill talk to the king okk honey!” and when i looked up i saw the guard looking at me with love and loyalty and i said “ are you ok…” he said “ Oh yes my  name is larry and you are amazing with the pups and if you wasnt mated with the king i would have snatched you up and asked for your hand!” I blushed and said thank you but one question remained in the back of my mind why did they not smell my mate on me if he marked me and so i decided to ask “Why cant you tell im mated and marked to the king?” he looked at me and said ive never met the king so i dont know his scent but i didnt realize you were a human until you you woke up and your heart beat was the same not like ours thats erratic at times.” i just made an “O” with my mouth and that had him chuckling. He said “Come on we should get you taken care of ill get some clothes for you after i show you to the guest room.” I just followed behind him and when we entered the pack house my mouth dropped. It was beautiful with a double sided stairs and i elegant chandelier in the middle of the foyer and then i saw alot of people in the living room i supposed. It was so full of life it warmed my heart. I reached the room and he said meet me in the living room after your done ill have a maid bring you the clothes and i nodded. I was stunned by the guest room and it had an adjoining bathroom which was amazing but my mind drifted back to my babies maddy and jake and i was also thinking about Gabriel and how mad and scared they all were. I got up from where i sat down at some point and started to run the bath when a beautiful girl came in holding brand new clothes and she nodded and said here you are extending her hands to give me the clothes but not once did she look me in the eye and i felt kind of bad. I went to her and raised her chin and said to her “ Dont let nobody snuff the light you hold honey you are to gorgeous!” she looked at me and smiled a bright smile but said nothing and walked out and i felt accomplished. I did my business and got dressed and headed to the living room and was surprised when i saw Gabriel and i ran to him. He lifted me up and smashed his lips to mine and growled when our lips touched. I broke the kiss and said the bad man left me with great host gabe i loved it and gabe there are alot of kids that dont have parents do you think we can find them homes and he gave me a smirk and said you will be a great luna queen my dear but if you want to see two little bundles of energy that cant wait to see you come with me outside and i bolted without another word and as i left the front door i was overwhelmed wit the sight of my kids and them running to me that i dropped to the floor on my knees and they knocked me down and i started laughing and they started crying. I looked at them and asked “you missed me that much babies?” they put their heads down and jake spoke up “Mommy i thought we were going to lose you i thought we were going to have to be with daddy forever and yes we missed you alot mommy” and gave me a hug. Maddy followed and she said very faintly “ mommy gabe missed you too i saw him crying when he didnt know i was there.” and i was shocked at her words and i looked at gabe and he gave a sheepish smile and bent down and gave me a kiss on the forehead. I smiled at him and saw we were being watched and the girl from earlier cameinto view and i heard a loud growl from behind me and i was terrified at the sound and gabe  covered me in his arms and said “i see someone just found their mate.” Immediately i saw the girl that i spoke  to in my bedroom grabbed by frankie and i couldnt help the smirk that came from my lips. I saw him hug her and kiss her so gently and i saw the beaming smile that adorned her lips. I was so happy to see her smiling and i didnt over step my boundaries when i spoke to her in the guest room.
