How would I ever escape? I want to see my family. I want to feel the rain and wind on my face. I wished so much I could just get a glimpse of the moon. Oh, Moon Goddess please let me get out of here alive! I just want to be free to do whatever I please. I don’t even know how much time has passed. It’s been a long while since I last ate or the last time the rogue wolf even stepped foot in here. Maybe he ran into some trouble. Perhaps he lost his way back. Leaving me here to live out my days, however many I may have left alone in this dark prison. I began to wonder once again about my wolf. Do I even have one? Surely not since she hasn’t decided to show up. I still have a little hope that I do though. Perhaps she’s just waiting on the right time.

I have to find shelter. A safe haven. For both me and the girl. I had ran until I couldn’t run any further and needed to rest. It was nearly dusk and I was nowhere near finding somewhere to turn to. Cautiously and carefully I lay beneath some shade trees. My mind and my wolf at war with one another. Finally the small wounds have healed and I could stop worrying about a blood trail. I slowly drifted off to sleep. That slumber would be short lived.
Alpha Phoenix
I gathered the pack warriors, volunteers, and this that stayed behind from Alpha Ronan’s pack. Quickly I informed them of the plan. We would wait until nightfall and head out. Everyone would split up to cover more ground. The idea was to sniff out where the rogue was hiding. No one was to approach or even let him know of our presence. Constant communication would be done through mind link. Once I knew of his location he would be trapped and brought back here alive until Alpha Ronan could come back. I was sure that he would want to learn why he was attacked before anything else became of such a creature. I, however, wanted to nothing more than to catch the rogue and see if he knew of the others. Those that had ruined everything I had ever known.

It had been a while since I had eaten last or even had a sip of water. These chains were hurting more and more and I felt as though I was going to just wither away in this darkness. Was I left here to die? It seemed as though it was days before my capturer returned. Surely it hadn’t been though. He removed the chains and scoffed at me when he picked up my frail body. I had no fight in me to object. He carried me out into the light of the moon.
