Merida's POV present
Matt gets up abruptly and starts walking away. He looks back at me for a short moment and leaves the restaurant. I stand up distracted by what he just called me. He says I'm cute. Matt then just left and I couldn't tell him what I thought of him. Someone, please, tell me how should I feel. I get to the bathroom with my bag so I can change in no time and I just realize this. I have been thinking non-stop about Matt ever since I got up. I walked right past everyone to get my bag and I didn't realize it. 'Whoops' I say to myself in my head. I get uniform back on and start handing out the food. Well this is the end of my shift, but I decide to help clean up. I'm in no rush to go to my apartment anytime soon. I clean up the east end of the tables and three other people clean up the north, west, and south end. Zander got the west end. Anyway I clean up pretty quickly, because there wasn't really anything to clean up. All I found was a wallet that a man or woman with the last name Allgood left and a ring that someone left. I put them in the lost and found basket. I'm ready to leave so I grab my stuff. Zander comes to me and has something in his hand. Oh great. "Merida someone left this for you on number twelve table." Zander says and hands me a paper. "Oh, thank you!" I say wondering what Matt left. "Have a good night." I say and I smile a fake smile. I leave him in silence. I get to the door and look around before I step out. I don't see nothing, so good so far. I walk out of the restaurant door and run to my car which I quickly unlock on the way. I get in and lock the doors as I get in. I look around in the back seats to see if anyone is hiding there, there is no one. I start up the car and notice a second note under the windshield whippers. I carefully get out and grab the note quickly and get back in the car. This note is from Matt also. I drive to my apartment quickly but carefully. I practically run all the way to my apartment. From there I unlock the door and walk in, lock the door again. I run to my couch to read the notes.
