Chapter 17 :I Thought You Were Stronger

I look behind me and Zander is still behind me, but closer. Oh, no. I take the sharp left and open the door to the lobby and run. All I can do is run, run for my freedom. I run up the stairs skipping some by accident. I almost trip a hundred times. "Help, help me please." I scream and look back as I make it to a floor with 100- something. Zander is still on the stairs, he fell a lot. My advantage. I look at the doors and some of them open and I get to room 114. It's Matt's door. He hasn't opened it. I begin to knock frantically as I see Zander twenty feet from me. "Matt open the door, please!!!" I scream into the door and look through the little hole in the door. Matt is running to the door. Zander is ten to twelve feet away from me. Matt opens the door and sees me. His is expression is so many things. He sees Zander and starts to walk out. "Matt, help me." I say frantically. Zander grabs my arm and starts pulling me viciously to the exit. I grab on to Matt's hand. "Help, please." I say quietly to him and he is in shock. Matt snaps out of the shock and pulls me out of Zanders grip and into his arms. "Merida." Matt says and holding me close. "What do you think your doing?!" Zander says loudly at Matt. "What do you?" Asks Matt and holding me ever more closer. "She's mine." Says Zander puffing himself out more. "f**k no, hell no Merida is not yours." Matt says putting me behind him. "Yes she is, Merida is my girlfriend." Zander says. "No, my baby is not your girlfriend. This is my girlfriend." Matt says. "No, she..... is.... mine." Zander says trying to reach behind Matt and I see his hand. I whimper, scared of everything. "Merida, get in the room." Matt says and I know something severely wrong.

Matts POV

    Merida walks in the room and closes the door. I look at the hallway and everybody else steps in their room and shuts the door. "I know your the one who took Merida." I say and I see fear flash in Zanders eyes. I know his name because my baby told me. I wasn't too happy when she told me he had a stalker crush on her. I know it was Zander who kidnapped Merida because he wasn't that smart. His car leaked diesel all the way to his house and he suddenly disappeared and there was a note from Rose to him telling Zander to kidnap Merida to torcher me. "There is no proof if I did or didn't." Zander says cocky. "Oh really what's this." I say flashing the note in front of him. "Leave now or." I say. "I have to kidnap Merida, then I can leave." Zander says and I'm absolutely disgusted. I've had enough and it looks like he has too. Zander punches me right in the face. I stumble and I hear Zander say. "I thought Merida's boyfriend would be stronger than that." Right then and there I have a flash back.

    Here I am at this party I'm only sixteen and girls already want me to have drinks. I decline them and start walking towards the exit. I'm not into these kind of parties. All they are is girls trying to get into guys pants and vice versa. Then I see my arch enemy, Eric. I start walking to the other exit trying to avoid him. "There he is, Matt." Eric says and I hear snickering. "He's such a wimp." One of Eric's gang members. They walk to me and surround me in a circle. "Where do you think your going." Eric says pushing me. "Oh stand up for yourself wimp." Eric says taunting me. I was told not to get into fights. He is right in front of me and then all of a sudden Eric punches me hard in the gut. I fly and land on my back. "Oh I thought Matt was stronger than this." Eric says and anger rises, oh no when I'm angry it's bad really bad. I jump to my feet. I've had enough of this.
