With thoughts of Nevada racing through his head, Justin hits the gas as he gets on the freeway. He is determined to reach her as soon as possible, he knows she must be freaking out at Jun's house.
But at that moment, he notices someone waving for assistance from a car by the side of the road. He nearly drives by, concluding he cannot afford to stop, but upon closer inspection, he recognizes the person as Maverick.
Justin slams on the brakes, skidding to a halt and reversing. Maverick rushes toward him as soon as he gets out of the car, his face displaying a mix of urgency and relief.
