CHAPTER 28 FIGHTING CHANCE Lisa finished writing the last of her case notes, closed the case file, and slotted it into the filing cabinet beside her desk at the surgery centre. She took a sigh of relief at having consulted with her last client for cataract surgery. A noise outside her window made her stand up. She headed to the window, pulled aside the drape, and peered out. A figure loomed in the distance in the car park area outside. It took a split second for this person wearing a woollen jumper and loose pants to scurry off.
