Jerry knows we're coming and he left the jeep there. The key is with the attendant.” “Why isn't Jerry or someone meeting us?” “The early birds are meeting about the Corporation accounts. I'm to go to the basement meeting room the minute I arrive. Take a look. We're right overhead.” Ardith looked down and blinked. She had never seen it from above and it was impressive. It occupied a meadow of the Adirondack Mountains. The lodge was a huge mansion of stone and wood. Slate covered the roof. The other buildings were a barn with white fencing, two huge garages with apartments above, and a guest house or servant's quarters.
