Trent’s mom, Amanda, spent a whole morning praying about what to say to put Doris at ease. It had been years since the incident with the quilt. Amanda had forgotten about it a few days after it happened. Too bad Doris carried the embarrassment after all these years. For the sake of the kids, it was necessary for her to put it aside.
