Jason P.O.V. It has been calm in Border City these last few months and clam always makes me nervous. Senator Ready left that day after our dinner without a backward glance. He had his meeting with Peter and boarded his plane and went home. I have been keeping up with his career because he interested me. Here is a man, who has always been against my kind and then all of the sudden he is becoming one of our best allies. I am not sure if I trust him yet, but he is doing everything right. He met with his state counterparts and they drafted some new legislation that made his state more friendly to magic people and in turn businesses that work with magic people locally and internationally. He then returned to DC and work on smaller bills that had good chances to pass both the house and senate
