Chapter 29 Amelia’s P.O.V. I am dreading the conversation I need to have with Marjory. I need to tell her that I cannot continue with this speaking role. I barely got out the event last night without John following me as is. I cannot risk continuing and him finding me. As if she can tell I am thinking of this she calls me. I groan as I pick up the phone. “Good morning,” I say trying to sound chipper. “Amelia, you won’t believe it. We just got a major donation from someone from last night event. The gentleman said you spoke to his wife and now she wants to support us.” I smile at the phone.
