Chapter 28 - Dancing
Chapter 28 William’s P.O.V. John announces our arrival and I cringe. Subtle is not this man strong suit. He surveys the room and then his eyes stop searching. They land on a tall woman in a blue sequin dress. It takes me a moment to realize that it is Amelia. John starts to walk towards her as she bolts to the bathroom. I grab his arm and pull him back to me. “Let me go,” he growls at me. “You cannot follow your ex-wife into the bathroom.” “My wife!” he states. I roll my eyes at him. He has spent the last couple of months looking for Amelia everywhere. Her office will not let him anywhere near her and every other way to find her has just vanished. He called every hotel, and none had her listed as a guest. She got a new phone and number and setup a new bank account. Whoever
