Apollo's point of view

My father was standing by the window watching Artemis leave with Margo.

"She's going to pick up my birthday present. You know Artemis father, always last minute. Now why did you want me for a meeting? I thought everything was settled for our party this evening or is there a rogue attack that happened recently?" I looked at my father with a quizzical look

"I have reason to believe Drex will attack within the next few hours." He sat down at his desk "There is news I received from a near by pack the Silver Ray's Pack. They are fairly large and their Alpha is young and is taking over from his father who has recently passed on. Alpha Andrei spoke of a traitor that killed his grandfather and that was banished by his father. A wolf named Drexel that he believes to have settled here in our pack as our second in command. He says he craves power and a powerful Luna. Though I don't think he will take your mother I do believe he will want your sister. Her blood has the power of Alpha's running in her veins like you. He will try to destroy myself, your mother and any members of our pack that he can, including you most likely." At this point my father paused and was waiting for me to read the letter he had handed me while he was telling me all this.

"I don't understand, if they knew who had killed his grandfather why only banish him and not kill him?" I asked my father while I placed the letter back on my father's desk.

"They had no proof it was actually him who had committed the crime only a thought that it was him so by wolf law they were only allowed to banish him and not kill him. If I am to believe it is the same Drex then he will strike tonight before your 18th birthday when you are at your weakest." My father was now writing something down and using our seal so I knew it was official business he was doing.

"Father, what do you want me to do? Get Artemis and hide?" I ask standing to my feet already searching for her location through our twin link that we have.

"Almost, your sister is safe for now in town and hopefully he will take your leaving as a sign that's she is with you and then you will be able to come back before midnight and all will be right. He will be dead and we no longer have to worry about him."

My father handed me the sealed letter "Now what father?"

"You will find Axel and some of your friends and take them to the Silver Ray's Pack and hand their Alpha this letter. I will phone you when he is dead and you all may return in time to celebrate your 18th birthday just as your mother has planned. Good luck and safe travels"

With that being said I left my father's office and pulled out my phone and texted Axel and our friends in one chat

Pack a bag we are traveling to a near by pack called the Silver Ray's Pack. Meet me at the gate in 20 mins. Oh and Axel grab some of your sister's things. She is in town with Artemis.

I heard my sister's phone chime as I entered her room to get her bag. Dammit Artemis why can't you ever remember your phone. Shaking my head I placed it in my pocket and packed her some of her favorite things and set off to my room to do the same for myself.

I pulled up to gate and we all loaded into three Jeeps. Mine, Axel's and Will's and we set out towards the Silver Ray's Pack.

"According to my father they live just on the other side of the mountains about a 2 hour drive."

"Apollo why are we going to this pack so close to your party? I don't understand" Axel chimed in over the bluetooth

"Our Alpha has ordered us to go for our safety. He believes that Drex is going to attack and kill our pack. We have to survive and continue our pack lines. The Alpha of the Silver Ray's Pack will give us sanctuary and aid us in the battle that my come if our parents should fail."

They all were silent and I understood why. They were all thinking of their parents and what could be happening soon if not already.

"Apollo where are our sisters? They should be with us. WE NEED TO FIND THEM!" Axel was already trying find his sister I could hear someone else phone ringing and new he had borrowed a phone to call her.

"My father says they are safe in town and the fight should be over by the time they get home and we should be able to arrive back home soon. Our Alpha will call us when we are able to return home."

Two hours flew by quickly and we pulled up to a gate that could only be described as jaw dropping. It was made of silver and had two wolves howling at the full moon, one wolf slightly larger then the other symbolizing a Alpha and a Luna.

"Breathtaking." Aliana said next to me while she grabbed my hand.

"May I help you?" a deep voice from the other side of the gate asked us

"I am the son of Alpha Aries of the Moonlight Pack. My name is Apollo Codru and my father wishes me to give this to.....AHHHH!" while I was speaking I suddenly collapsed to my knees in pain and grabbed my head.

Fear, pain, anger all these emotions were flooding through my head at once and I knew instantly what was happening.

"they are dead, the are all dead" I whispered
