Brian's POV The severe head pain wakes me up, slowly opening my eyes, but I could see nothing. As soon as I reach out my hand to pull away from the long hair that was blocking my eyes, I heard something break. then I fall from somewhere, the only thing I can hear is the roaring winds. With a muffled sound, my body is more likely to fall apart, my God, it f*****g hurts. I struggle and open my eyes, and I look up and see the cliff. It is a miracle that I am still alive! There are rocks and branches of a stout tree around me. I say to myself, fortunately, a big tree provided me with a buffer, otherwise, I would die as I fell from the 20-meter-high cliff. Suddenly, lights appeared halfway up the cliff, accompanied by the howling of wolves. "We find him separately, he must die today!" "YES!" The sound of running feet is getting closer and closer to me, and my instinct tells me: Danger! But who are they? Are they chasing me? Who am I? I have less time to figure out the situation than I think. "He is here!" a roar appears right above my head. I suddenly feel a force gathering in my heart, and it exploded quickly, spreading to my entire body. The severe pain makes me howl, but it comes to my ear as a roar of a wolf. I have no time to take the astonishment, I must manage to live! I see my nails turn black, and grow into sharp claws thick black hairs quickly grow out of my pores. My bones are breaking, but they are regrouping in an instant. I shift into a wolf!!! A wolf rushes towards me quickly, biting my ear with its fangs.   I hold back the pain, shake my head to bite his neck, and fight with him, tumbling back and forth on the gravel. Finally, I throw him heavily on the rock at the moment of his relaxation, his head directly hits the ground, his neck is broken and he dies before closing his eyes. But it is too early for me to be happy, and one after another wolves rush towards me.   I shake my head to get rid of the blood, putting the front legs stretched forward, and the hind legs push forward vigorously, jumping and stepping on the bodies of wolves one after another, fleeing away from the group of red-eyed wolves who are roaring because of anger and desire for killing.   Wow, hoo, I run really fast, but unluckily they are not bad. I run as fast as I could, but still feel their breath are not far behind me. Suddenly, dizziness hit me. I slip and fall into the river. The coldness makes me awake instantly. I swang my limbs, swimming freely like a fish and turning my head to look at the wolves chasing after me. They all stop on the shore and do not dare to jump into the river.   I feel a sense of pride: these stupid cowards, losing the slightest prestige when they see the water. In the next second, I feel the river flowing faster and faster. I struggle with all strength, but I am still washed downstream by the rushing river. My head hit a boulder and the darkness attacks me. I lost my consciousness. I don't know how long it lasts, but when I wake up, I feel exhausted and starving as if I just come back from the hell. I find myself waking up naked on the shore and transforming back into a human again. I want to shift to a wolf again, but no matter how I try, I can't make it happen. I sigh in disappointment and accept the cruel reality. I sneak into the storage room of a nearby house in the dark, hoping to find clothes and food. Fortunately, I find a hoodie and a pair of jeans, running away after changing clothes quickly. I don't know how far I run. I have already arrived in a brightly lit town. In order not to be noticeable, I decided to find a random restaurant in the dim alley and find some food.   At this time, a scent mixed with mint and citrus attracts my attention. This scent is so familiar as if I have known it forever, but it is weird to feel so as I don't even remember who am I. I run along with the smell without hesitation.
