~ Chapter Five ~

I woke up when the sun hits my face and when I opened my eyes damn how difficult it is for me to stood up when my head badly hurts!
I tried to remember what happened to me but I can't no matter how I tried remembering even the small details of it.
Adjusting my sight, I slowly noticed that I was not in my room room! It was a complete strange to me to sleep in somebody's bed room!
I checked myself and I was wearing the same thing from yesterday, and now the question is where am I?
I quickly stood up from the bed and went outside. I scanned the house and no one was there! Then I saw a letter and a medicine that was placed in the table.
'Take these pills, also find something to eat.'
"As if I'm not a doctor." I said.
I went through this person's fridge and saw a bottle of orange juice and ham to fill my empty stomach. I also tried searching for answer about this person but no picture or information can be seen in this house! except man's clothes and that answers my question How weird!
Before leaving the house I left a letter and my number if the person needs something for help because I would be willing to help him.
I took a cab first to take my car from the bar and drove way back home to take a bath and change clothes before heading to work.
When I got home I immediately went to the bath room to relax myself and try to recall what happened. I remember that I discovered what Daniel did and went to the bar.
I drank a two bottle of tequila when a man tried to stop me and after that I can't recall what happened.
"Argh! What did I do stupid now?!" I angrily scold myself.
Then a message popped in my phone and I saw twenty messages and fifty missed-calls from Daniel. I really wanted to open and read his messages but I chose not to because I wanted to ignore him and maybe heal first before fix anything if it can be fixed.
I went to my wardrobe and to see I only had back pairs left. I chose my turtle neck fitted long sleeve and paired it with my black high-waist pants.
I wanted to feel secured and daring at the same time so I had a glow make up on just right to hit the sunlight and have a fresh look.
On my way to the Sacred Hospital a receive a phone call coming from Athena she said that there had an emergency and I was needed in the surgery room. Hitting the gas on I raced as fast as I can to reach the hospital in just ten minutes.
The nurses were rushing to the patient while I was putting my mask and lab gown. I then requested three clinical nurses to just come and assist me in the operating room.
I was expecting the patient to be a random person when I saw it was the grandfather of Daniel being shot by a gun which made me ache more an more.
Look how his lies effected karma so fast!
I requested another two surgical nurses to make thing work fast and done. We gave him oxygen to put anesthesia to his wounds while begin to cutting his skin and carefully removing the holes, I thought it would only take an hour but suddenly the patient went lines down which is alarming.
I was carefully and manually pumping the patient to gain breathing but it took twenty five minutes before it became normal. I signaled the nurses to begin operating and glad that we made it in just fifteen minutes. We cleaned Daniel's grandfather wounds and I stitched it up without hassle before we sent him to his designated room and have a rest.
"Congratulations Dr. Andrea!" The nurses said but I paused my hand to say it fair.
"No congratulations to all of us." I said as we all turned back to our places.
On my way back in the office I suddenly saw Daniel with his parents which made me to turn my back, but to my mistake I bump into Eric again.
"How many times would you do this?" He rudely says.
"I didn't know you were in my back okay!" I said which he just stared at me with a blank expression but his eyes! His eyes were telling me something!
He was about to leave though but memories flashed into me! I'm not so sure though but his hazel eyes were connecting with my memories yesterday!
"Eric wait!" I held his hand which game me shivers again as he pulled it back.
"What?" He asked but I decided not ask about it.
"Nothing you can go." I said and without hesitation he left.
I rolled my eyes to that guy who had a sweet scent today, why would I think he's the one who saved me yesterday? And even if he did I would literally kill myself in embarrassment!
"Dr. Andrea you forgot to sign this." A nurse said to me and handled me my scheduled operation for today when I saw Eric's name and his hand writing.
"Excuse me did Eric signed this section?" I asked the nurse and she nodded.
"Are you sure it wasn't his secretary?"
"No doctor he personally signed that and reminded me to give you this." The nurse said which has stopped me.
"Oh bloody curse!"
The scent! His eyes! His hand writing! It all made sense!
He was the one who saved me and tucked me in his arms! I literally just slept with him last night what a stupid lady I am!
Without any hesitation I quickly ran towards Eric whose just an inch away from me but to my stupidity and bad timing, I almost slipped making him catch me.
It was okay for me but for everybody in that place was not.
"I never knew you were very much a clumsy person Dr. Andrea." Eric said while my face turns red in completely, humongous, major, and reckless embarrassment!
Oh, heaven please take me now!
