No Hope

XI - Harry

"each pirate, grab one or two cutlass's, combat knives, daggers. anything that will keep you standing on your feet" Elias screamed loudly. and the pirates ran around like ants. i was sitting on the edge of the poop deck while watching them move around and getting their selves ready. Then, Elias looked at me, and angrily walked into my direction. here we go again.

"what are you still doing here?" he calmly said in my face. i was in a shock for a moment, he didn't scream in my face, what a miracle.

"nothing, just looking at you and the pirates" i said. and he just gave me a bored look.

"go to your room Clay, this is not a joke" he said and i stood up to face him. and his body tensed.

"i want to help you" i said and hell started forming up in his eyes. you will regret this Cecile.

"i said, go to your room" he roughly said and i sat back down. and he folded his arms.

"but, i want to help you" i said. and he angrily rubbed his face.

"you are the one who told me that they will kill you if they saw you, and if i am dead. no one will volunteer to help you" he said. i might die but i need to gain your trust. 

"fine, then we will both die together" i said and i can tell that he had the urge to stab me.

"can you even grab a cutlass or a dagger?" he asked and i laughed, you thought.

"want to see yourself?" i said and he shrugged his shoulders.

"i don't know about this" he said and i stood up again.

"i am not asking you if i can fight with you, i am telling you that i will be fighting with you" i said and his angry expression never changed.

"so earlier, you we're just messing with my head?" he said and i gave him an innocent smile.

"why would i do such thing?" i said and he roughly rubbed his jaw.

"SAIL, HO. I REPEAT, SAIL, HO" the pirate that was on the crow's nest screamed. Elias handed me a cutlass, and i carefully grabbed it. then he handed me a dagger and i put it inside my boots.

"i don't want you to leave my sight, Sawy?" Elias said and i didn't answer him, i just admired how good he looks.

"i see a red ensign. it's them" the pirate on the crow's nest screamed again. Elias gave me a look to follow him and i did. and we walked to the main deck.

"what is she still doing here?" Stephen and Edward both asked in the same time, Elias just gave me a deadly look before answering them.

"she is fighting with us" he said and Stephen looked at me, clearly disappointed.

"you will get yourself killed, kid" he said and i had enough of this.

"a woman can fight, a woman can use a sword, dagger, pistol and anything. and i am one of those women" i said and the three of them just looked at each other.

"give me the spyglass" Elias said. and Stephen handed it to him. i looked at the ocean and my eyes instantly noticed the ship that is close to us.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE" one of the pirates screamed, then suddenly the entire ship started shaking and i lost balance but i was quick to steady myself. a canon has been fired.

"AS SOON AS THIS IS OVER, WE ARE TAKING RUM FROM THEIR SHIP BECAUSE I AM SICK FROM DRINKING WHISKEY" Oscar screamed and every pirate on deck laughed, including Edward and Elias.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE" the pirate screamed and again the entire ship started shaking. but i was lucky to stay balanced.

"GO GET THE CHASE GUN READY" Stephen said. i turned around to face them.

"it's not the right time to ask, but what is a chase gun?" i asked and Elias just gave me the same deadly look.

"it's the main canon" Elias said and i whispered a small 'oh'. he thinks that i am dumb now.

"HEADS DOWN" the buccaneer on the crow's nest yelled. and then Elias wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pushed me down on the floor. and the next thing i saw is a canon ball flying above us.

"STAY DOWN" Elias screamed and everyone we're just laying down on the floor. and after a few moments everyone stood up. and Elias grabbed my hand and helped me to stand up on my feet.

"IS EVERYONE READY?" Elias screamed and every buccaneer on ship screamed and they started cheering.

"kid, you still have a chance to go to your room and-" Stephen started but i cut him off.

"Stephen, i will be fine" i said and he just didn't buy it. i know that he only wants me to stay safe, but i don't mind getting myself killed, who said that i wanted to live anyway?.

And before i had the chance to say something else, the next i know that is the soldiers ship is next to our ship and soldiers started jumping to our ship with ropes. and the sound of swords filled in air. i tightened my grip around my cutlass and i started looking around me.

"a woman? that will be easy" a voice said from behind me, i turned around and i was lucky to dodge his sword from stabbing me in the face.

"let's see how easy will that be" i said and we started fighting. and i kept dodging him until it was getting lame and i easily stabbed him.

"who is the easy one now?" i said. i dug the sword deeper into him as i watched his soul leave his body. i threw him on the floor and i turned around to search for my next victim. then suddenly i was tackled to the floor, i looked above me and i was quick to roll around before i was stabbed. 

"YOU BETRAYED US" the soldier screamed and i kept rolling around. then i kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and he drop his sword on the floor and he himself dropped on his knees.

"No, you are the one's who betrayed me" i said before my hand wrapped around his neck and i snapped it to the side. i looked around me and i noticed that two soldiers are fighting Oscar and he was losing his battle. i grabbed my sword and i ran to him. i grabbed one of the soldiers from his hair and i stabbed him from behind. and then Oscar stabbed the second one.

"i thought that you are innocent, what happened to you?" Oscar screamed. then he pushed me to the side and the stabbed the soldier that was about to attack me from behind.

"still innocent. now, where is Elias?" i asked as i fought one of the soldiers. deep down i was happy that half of the soldiers are new so most of them didn't recognize me.

"on the enemies ship" Oscar said. and i stabbed the soldier that i was fighting with. then, i ran to the side of the deck, and my eyes focused on Elias who was fighting two soldiers, and his hand was covering his shoulder which means that he was stabbed. so i ran to the opposite of the deck, i took a deep breath, then i ran as fast as i could. and i jumped high in the air.

"AHHHHHH" i screamed before i landed on the enemies main deck. i hit my head so hard, to a point where i started seeing black dots in my sight. but i fought back the pain before i stood up and i started fighting the two soldiers who attacked me. 

"that is a surprise" one of them said as we walked around each other in a loop of circles. 

"Cecile, it's a pleasure seeing you again, but it's not a pleasure to see how turned from a princess to a filthy pirate" the second one said and i just smiled at him. believe, it's much better.

"better than being a toy for the king, unlike you" i said and they both looked at me with anger in their eyes. then i felt some movement behind me, and before i had the chance to turn around, the first soldier launched at me and i felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

"you son of a bachelor" i screamed before i stabbed him and i instantly turned around and i stabbed the soldier behind me. as i watched both them suffer slowly before they die.

"you still have me, princess" the third and last one said. i turned around and i managed to keep a strong face on.

"don't celebrate so fast" i said and i tried to stab him but he jumped to the side and he slammed my sword, causing it to break.

"it's sad to see you helpless, not even a weapon to protect yourself with" he said and i laughed. then i grabbed the dagger from my boots.

"repeat that" i said. then he tried to stab me but i jumped on the ground and i was quick to stand up behind him. i grabbed his hair and i yanked his head backwards.

"they will kill you for destroying your families name" he screamed as i yanked him harder. it's not like they didn't destroy it already.

"when i see you in the after life, i will make sure to kill you again" i whispered in his ear before i cut his neck with my dagger and i pushed him on the floor and watched him struggle for air. then i turned around and i started searching for Elias, and when my eyes landed on him, i was about to walk to him but my hair was yanked and i was thrown on the ground. i screamed in both pain and surprise.

"i am going to torture you slowly and painfully" the person who attacked me said, i tried to stand up but he pushed my shoulder with his foot causing me to fall back down and hit my head hard.

"let me show you what people like you deserve. people who betray their families" he said. then his fist collided of my cheek. and my vision was blurry.

"don't you recognize me, Cecile" he whispered in my ear and i was quick to hit his face with my elbow. and i quickly stood up and grabbed a sword. even though my legs are going to fail me any second.

"you are strong now, no wonder why" he said, and now he gave me a good look of his face. and when i saw those dark black eyes, i felt my heart drop.

"Harry" i whispered. he smiled as he wiped the blood from his face.

"nice seeing you again" he said and i just had no words. i don't think that i feel the same way seeing him.

"i will kill you" i said and he laughed. and i started walking around him in circles as he just stood in the same spot. he is waiting for me to attack first.

"it's a shock to see you like this, i have always known you as the poor little Cecile who will give people what they desire without having the strength to even defend herself" he said and i felt anger form up in my insides. i was forced to give them what they want. 

"well, i changed" i said and he just laughed. his laugh reminded me of so many bad thing, so all i wanted is to sit down and just cry.

"i missed you, i missed your body, i missed your sweet lips" he started and all i wanted is to smack that dirty smile off his face. 

"and i definitely didn't miss you forcing me to do things as filthy as you are" i said. stop sounding so weak Cecile.

"no one forced you little girl. you didn't defend yourself and that is not my problem" he said and i was shocked for a brief second.

"i didn't defend myself? each time i told you not to touch me you would even touch me more and tell me that i deserve it" i screamed. don't cry Cecile, don't cry Cecile. don't show him that you are weak. 

"i wish that you died with your father" he said. and my sadness disappeared and it was replaced with anger.

"i wish that i had the ability to tell Henry that his brothers killed him to take his crown" i said and Harry just smiled. he didn't even deny it.

"bravo, you caught us. but you know what is the good part? is that you will be able to tell Henry since you will be dead" he said and i pushed my sword in his face and i made a little cut but he was quick to dodge it. his eyes turned dark.

"let's see how strong you are" he said. and without any warning, he attacked me to the floor. i tried to stab him but he grabbed my wrist and slammed my hand causing the sword to go flying.

"YOU WILL NEVER BE LIKE HIM" i screamed, he punched me in the face and i felt blood form up in my mouth.

"you will never be good as him" i said. and that caused him to punch me even harder.

"say one more thing, i dare you" he screamed and i laughed out loud. i love provoking men.

"my mother will not love you the same way she loved Henry, so you didn't kill him for the crown, you killed him because he is the one who won her not you" i said. and his eyes turned darker than ever. he screamed before he punched me again. he stood up and grabbed a sword.

"i will be happy to stab you, just like i stabbed him" he said, he raised his sword high in the air, ready to stab me. but then his sword fell next to my face, and he looked down at the sword that just went through him.

"send him my greetings" i said to Harry as he took his last breath, then he fell to the ground next to me. i took a look at my hero, and i saw a very angry Elias. he was breathing heavily, blood all around his face and body. but still, he looked better than ever.

"you owe me one" he said before he helped me to stand up. i grabbed a sword as i wiped the blood from my mouth.

"who is that?" he asked and i felt the world stop moving. 

"a person, from my past" i said and Elias just gave me a weird look.

"i saw you fight, you fight better than most of them" he said and i laughed. 

"you are not bad yourself" i said and he smiled as he wiped the blood from his forehead.

"we killed everyone on this ship, they we're more than twenty men but we still did it" he whispered slowly as he looked behind me. a glass of rum would be amazing now.

"all dead, we really di-" i said but i cut myself off by pushing Elias out of the way and i stabbed the soldier who was on his way to stab Elias.

"what the bloody hell?" Elias screamed. i took my sword out of the soldier and i turned to face Elias again.

"did you just save me?" he said and i gave him a funny look. he sounds so dramatic.

"do you think everyone is selfish like you?" i said and he smiled. who is going to tell him that i am not joking.

"now, you owe me one" i said and he just rubbed his jaw, but flinched because he accidentally touched a fresh cut.

"i will never forget this" he said and i felt much better, hearing such words from him is just something new and doesn't always happen so i need to enjoy every second of it. 

"SHIPSHAPE" Elias turned around and screamed, and the pirates on our ship and on the enemies ship started cheering.

"i am really proud of what you did today" Elias said. and i was about to answer him but i screamed from the sharp pain in my stomach. Elias quickly grabbed me, with horror in his eyes.

"what's wrong?" he asked and i screamed again in pain. he carefully helped me to lay down on the floor.

"talk to me Clay, tell me what's wrong?" he said and i pointed at my stomach as i both screamed and cried in pain. he cut the ending of the piece of cloth i am wearing and he quickly placed his hand on my stomach.

"no no no no no no" Elias screamed. then Stephen, Edward and Oscar came running. then my vision started getting blurry. i didn't want to die like this, not from a new soldier who barely can grab a sword, i can't die like this, it's a shame to die this way and i will never forgive myself.

"what happened?" Edward asked as he and Stephen wrapped a cloth around my wound. i was in so much pain, all i wanted to do is scream and cry. don't die Cecile, don't die. you can handle this, this is not the first time you have been stabbed, you can handle this pain and you will not die.

"isn't it obvious that she is stabbed Edward?" Stephen angrily screamed at Edward and all i wanted to do is laugh but i couldn't, the pain was growing bigger and bigger and i am losing hope each second.

"bring me any liquor and anything to close her wound with" Oscar screamed at a pirate that i can't see.

"HURRY THE HELL UP, SHE IS LOSING SO MUCH BLOOD AND WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT" Elias angrily screamed. does he really cares about me or he is just sad because he will no longer see me as the woman who will help him kill the king?.

"stay with me Clay, don't close your eyes, just stay with me" Elias screamed. but i couldn't, i tried to keep my eyes open but i couldn't last any longer. so i closed my eyes and i went to sleep.
