No Hope

XIII - Edward

"the plan is simple and easy, like every other plan" Edward said as we we're close to the town they are planning to steal. i was standing on the poop deck with Edward and Stephen.

"we are stealing supplies-" Edward started but he was cut off by Oscar.

"WE ARE STEALING RUM" Oscar screamed and we all laughed. why do they like rum this much?.

"the plan is, the captain and Stephen will go and make a bargain with the sellers. me, Oscar and five more pirates will go to secretly steal their supplies" Edward said and the pirates started cheering.

"i want to come" i said. Edward and Stephen both looked at me as if i just said a joke.

"funny, make a wish" Edward said and i blinked twice, are these pirates even real?.

"Edward, i am being serious" i said. and he just stared into my soul.

"do you want the captain to shoot me?" he said, i tried searching in his eyes if he is being serious or not but it looks like he is serious.

"i don't mind shooting you but i need a reason to do it" the captain's voice appeared out of nowhere. Edward took a deep breath before he turned around to face Elias.

"Captain" Edward nervously said. and Elias instantly folded his arms when he sensed that something is wrong.

"what is it?" Elias said. Edward just rubbed his forehead. he is making this look like a big deal, i only wanted to come with them, i didn't ask them to bring Poseidon and kill him.

"she want's to come" Edward said, then Elias moved his head to look at me since i was standing behind Edward.

"come where?" Elias asked, and Stephen gave Edward a dark look.

"Nowhere, they are just joking" Stephen said. Elias looked back and forth between three of us while hell was like always forming up inside his eyes.

"i will torture the three of you if you keep lying" Elias angrily screamed, causing the pirates to look at us.

"i told them that i want to go with the rest of pirates" i said. both Edward and Stephen gave me a look of disappointment. 

"repeat that again?" Elias said. then he suddenly pushed Edward aside, causing Edward to hit his head hard on the floor.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" i screamed. i was about to walk to Edward but Elias pushed me back.

"i said, repeat that again" he said. then he took few steps closer in my direction. that is when the strong smell of the liquor filled my nose.

"you are drunk" i said and he took more steps in my direction. i instantly took steps backwards.

"i don't like repeating myself twice" Elias said. and then he grabbed me by the collar of my blouse.

"let go of me you drunk bastard" i screamed. and i was shocked that he did let me go. 

"go to your room" Stephen screamed at Elias, and then Edward stood between me and Elias. what is going on.

"don't tell me what to do" Elias screamed, then he pushed Edward causing Edward to hit me.

"you don't want this fight to happen again Elias" Edward said. then Stephen rushed and pushed them away from each other, while i just stood there trying to understand what is going on.

"stop it, both of you" Stephen screamed as he stood between the two of them. and i walked a few steps back because i don't want to die from two giants beating each other.

"you are drunk" Edward said. and i can see the pain inside his eyes. Edward is talking to him as if they have known each other for a very long time.

"i am not drunk, i am just tipsy" Elias said. both Edward and Stephen took a deep breath.

"you promised me Elias" Edward said. and Elias pushed Edward and Edward stumbled a little but he was quick to gain his balance. Stephen angrily pushed Elias back.

"i don't remember promising anyone anything" Elias said. he is purposely provoking Edward because he had a dirty smile drawn on his face.. 

"YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET YOURSELF DRUNK ELIAS, YOU f*****g PROMISED ME, WE BOTH PROMISED EACH OTHER. WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PROMISE." Edward yelled. it's not the right to ask them what is going on. but i seriously need to know what the bloody hell is going on.

"WELL THAT PROMISE WAS MADE A LONG WHILE AGO" Elias screamed. now, the air was slowly disappearing, both of them we're sweating. Elias's face was red from anger and Edward had his fists clenched.

"YOU PROMISED HER ELIAS, YOU PROMISED HER. AND YOU BROKE HER PROMISE IN A MATTER OF A FEW HOURS" Edward screamed. and as soon as he said that sentence, Elias's eyes went darker than ever, and from the way he clenched his fists, he is ready to fight Edward. even Stephen shot Edward a death look.

"don't you dare mention her ever again" Elias said. and i can see the pain on his face. behind the darkness in his eyes was a little kid who just wanted some one to understand him and understand his desire's.

"no wonder why she was disappointed in you" Edward said. then suddenly Elias jumped on him and they both fell on the floor and they started throwing fists. i just covered my mouth in shock. they are literally fighting like kids, but kids who are much stronger.

"BASTARDS" Stephen screamed as he tried to separate them, then Oscar and three more pirates came rushing into our direction. Edward and Elias we're rolling around as they punched each other, and Elias was much stronger than Edward.

"I WILL KILL YOU" Elias screamed as Oscar and two pirates managed to rip him off Edward. and Edward just stood there as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

"let go of me" Elias calmly said. Oscar and the two pirates looked at Stephen and he nodded at them. and they let go of Elias and they walked away but not too far. then suddenly Elias grabbed a pistol from the back of his pants and instantly pointed it at Edward, who just looked at Elias with darkness in his eyes.

"DON'T YOU DARE DO IT ELIAS" Stephen screamed, then Elias pointed the gun in Stephen's direction.

"this doesn't concern you Stephen, now back off before i shoot you with him" Elias said. but Stephen didn't move a single step. Elias pressed the hammer of the revolver. i need to do something.

"stop" i said. but Elias didn't move an inch, he just kept his eyes and revolver focused on Stephen. i gathered my strength and i walked to Elias and i stood in front of him, he looked at me with the corner of his eyes.

"go to your room" Elias said and i folded my arms. you are short next to him Cecile, stop acting strong because he can't even barely see you from your height. 

"i said, stop" i said again. then he suddenly pointed his pistol at my forehead. and his eyes we're locked with mine. i didn't show him any fear.

"shoot me, i dare you" i said and he just gave me a dirty and dark smile. bastard.

"move, before i shoot you" he whispered. i don't know why but i pushed myself closer to him, causing the pistol to touch my forehead.

"do it" i said. and i can see the questioning look in those dark deadly eyes. we both stood in the same position for a few minutes until he took a deep breath and lowered his pistol. as soon as he lowered it, i raised my hand and i slapped him hard across his face. he stumbled a little was he was quick to look at me with death inside his eyes. i turned around and i walked to Edward, he smiled at me but i wiped that smile off his face by slapping him hard across the face. he gave me the same deadly look Elias gave me.

"HELP EDWARD CLEAN HIMSELF" i angrily screamed at Oscar and he quickly walked to Edward. i turned around to face Elias. who was smiling but his eyes we're still dark. and he was leaning on the right side of the deck.

"you, follow me" i angrily said to Elias, as i walked to the main deck. i grabbed a piece of clothes and i dipped it in a bucket of water. then i turned around around and i opened the glass door and i walked inside. while walking to Elias's room, i can hear his rough foot steps close behind me. opened the door of his room and i waited for him to get in.

"faster" i said. and his eyes we're locked with mine as he walked inside the room and closed the door.

"sit down" i said and he slowly sat down on the bed. i opened his legs and i stood between them, his height now was same as mine.

"what was that for?" i said as i started wiping the blood on his face. there was blood everywhere, his nose, his mouth, a cut above his eye.

"why does it concern you?" he said. nothing, you and Edward almost killed each other and you almost killed Stephen, pfff why would it concern me?.

"there was a reason behind everything that just happened" i said. when i touched the cut above his eye, he flinched. who thought that this giant knows what pain is?.

"sorry" i whispered, as i again touched the cut but this time softer. his eyes we're locked with my face and i tried my best not to look at him.

"since when do you and Edward know each other?" i asked. and his eyes never left my face. but for the very first time, i am good with him looking at me, since i usually get so uncomfortable.

"since he was born" Elias said and i was waiting for him to tell me if he is joking or not.

"are you joking or?" i asked and i can see his smile with the corner of my left eye.

"does it sound like i am?" he said and i giggled. why am i giggling?.

"give me one reason to trust you" he said and i was taken back by his question. 

"trust me, and i will trust you" i said and i am sure that he understood that i am talking about the scars. 

"my father, got his mother pregnant. Edward's mother, and he killed her after she gave birth to Edward so my mother took Edward and took care of him and treated him like her son and we grew up together" Elias started. now i am too curious to know the rest of the story.

"keep going" i said. and i started wiping the blood slower so this doesn't end fast.

"tell me one thing, and i will tell you one thing" he said and i stopped myself from laughing. despite the beast he is, i am sure that there is a little boy hiding behind the barricade.

"the scars, are from him, the king" i said. and i felt him tense up. don't do this Cecile.

"how and why?" Elias asked and i took a deep breath. we agreed on something.

"one thing for one thing, that is the bargain" i said and he slightly laughed. do it again, do it again.

"i am not saying anything until you answer my question" he said and i laughed a little. why am i enjoying this so much?.

"well, i am not saying anything either" i said and he huffed like a little kid. since when does he act like this around me?.

"come on, just answer this question" he said. is this really the same Elias i know?, i don't think so.

"he......he made me do things, that i don't want. so he would hit me until i do it" i said and his smiled disappeared. bloody hell.

"things like what?" he asked. and for a moment i stopped wiping the blood from his face, and i felt like there was no longer air to breath. i dropped the cloth and i was about to turn around but he instantly grabbed me from my waist, making it harder for me to make any move.

"please" he whispered. i locked my eyes with his. i don't mind hearing him saying please over and over again.

"he r***d me, for years" i said but it came more like a whisper. i moved my head to avoid his dark eyes. this is embarrassing, i should have never told him this. 

"look at me" he said but i didn't. i just kept my eyes locked on the wall, i didn't want him to look at me and notice my weakness.

"look at me, please" he said. and i slowly looked at him straight in his eyes. and his eyes weren't as dark as i thought that they would be.

"as long as i am around, no one will touch you or lay a finger on you" he said and i felt like i am flying high in the sky.

"but what about john" i said and he angrily took a deep breath and i just laughed. but a part of me wasn't joking.

"starting from today, no one will touch you or lay a finger on you" he said. and we both looked into each other's eyes. suddenly, he roughly grabbed my face and pulled me closer to him, so close to a point where i can feel his hot breath.

"no one, except me" he said, then he pressed his lips on mine. at first, i was too shocked and scared, but then i decided to push away my fear, and i started kissing him back. he wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to him. and i wrapped my arms around his neck. as he roughly yet passionately kissed me. then he started sucking and biting my lower lip. and i couldn't help but think about how much i want more of this. his lips are soft, as if they are only made for kissing. i can't believe that i am saying this, but i am enjoying every second of this. then, he broke the kiss and he slightly pushed me away to make a room for himself to stand up, then he looked at me straight in the eyes and sadness was filling his eyes.

"what is wrong?" i said as i slightly felt disappointed with myself. i gave myself to him so easily, of course he wouldn't like it.

"just forget about what just happened" he said and he walked to the door. i was both shocked and angry.

"for a minute, i thought that you broke the barricade. and like always, i am wrong, i am the only one here who broke the barricade" i said as he opened the door, he didn't look at me. he just huffed before he walked outside the room, leaving me inside the room, alone and wondering what did i do wrong.
