Chapter 4

Elizabeth's POV

    When I woke up I felt warm and I loved it. I wanted to go to the bathroom to take a shower, however, I felt something keeping me in place. As I turned around I saw his beautiful face near my shoulder. He was holding me in his arms and his scent was feeling me with all those butterflies in my stomach. I forgot for a moment that he was that ruthless Alpha that everyone was talking about and without realizing I put my hand on his face and caressed him.

    "What am I going to do with you?" I asked softly putting my finger on his lips

    "For example, you can kiss me" he said opening his eyes and looking into mine.

    I was so lost in his eyes that I didn't even realize as he brought me closer to him. He smashed his lips on mine and started kissing me. The kiss was tender but full of lust and need and as I started responding to his kiss he pressed himself harder into me. I felt his manhood on my core, it was rock hard and instantly I felt as all my blood was in cheeks. He inserted his hand under my shirt and started touching me and I left a moan. He growled and pressed his manhood harder on my core. My hips started to respond because my p***y was aching to be touched. I needed him to make me a woman and when he was about to take my panties off I heard a knock on the door and all the spell was broken.

    "If this is not something about life or death you better be prepared to die since you dared to disturb me." he yelled breaking our kiss.

    "Alpha the Red Pack Beta is here. He wants to have a talk, he said it is urgent." his beta said

    "Dad?!" I said and pushed him off of me "I need to come too" 

    He looked at me and smirked "What will you give me in return in order to let you come?" he asked

    "Anything, just ask. Please! I really missed him." I said

    "Okay. You may come, but tonight I will mark you. Do we have a deal?" he asked and that is when I understood that I was an i***t. Why the hell did I say anything? I could have just given him something that he wanted. i***t, you are an i***t Liz, I thought.

    "So? What will you answer be?" he asked "Tik, Tok, Tik, Tok" he added "Time's up" he said and was about to exit the bedroom when I yelled.

    "Okay!" and he turned around and gestured for me to follow him.

    When we arrived downstairs, the pack members were there and the girl from the other night was here as well. Oh, how I hated her guts. How did she dare to tell him to reject me? I am his mate! She is a f*****g w***e who was warming his bed while he was alone. Now I am here, she needs to leave him alone, or I think I might become a murderer. As much as I tried to break this connection I have with him, the truth is I can't. I feel him in my blood, he is a part of me and I know for sure that a rejection from him, or him cheating on me would break not just my heart but my soul.

    "Daddy!" I yelled as I saw my dad.

    "Honey" my dad said hugging me "I am so happy to see you" 

    "Alpha Ares" he said looking at my mate

    "I suppose Aaron has come to you and told you, but I will say it myself, she is my mate and she is not leaving me." he said looking at my dad

    "Alpha, it is not to disrespect, but does she want too?" my dad asked and Ares looked at me and singled for me to answer.

    "Dad" I took a deep breath and looked at him "We will have the marking ceremony tonight. You are welcome to attend." I said and I saw how Ares was shocked by my answer. Did he just gave me a chance to reject him, but I just couldn't. He smiled and for the first time, I saw his dimples on his face.

    "I would like to" my dad said

    "Then we will have a room prepared for you" Ares said and I looked at him "You can stay for a few days, I am sure that Aaron will be more than happy to let you stay." and this time I was shocked. Was he really that good to my dad only for me?

    "Jack tell the maids to prepare a guest room for my father in law" he said.

    "Father in law?" I asked and Ares looked at me and smirked.

    "Oh, darling, I am sorry, I forgot to mention. Here in our pack, the marking ceremony starts with a wedding in the church where we make our vows for eternity. And after that, we do there marking itself." he said

    "But I have nothing to wear." I said

    "Jack is taking you shopping in twenty minutes while your dad and I will get yo know each other better." he said and kissed my forehead "Go get ready and I will see you later, Love." he said and rushed to get out.

    I went to our bedroom charged in my clothes when the door opened and I thought for sure that it was Ares. The first thing that hit me was the scent, it was that w***e from the other night "Can I help you?" I asked not even bothering to turn to her.

    "Leave him. You don't love him. You are just bonded to him by that mate bond, I on the other side love him with all my heart. Leave him and I will let you live." she said and anger took the best of me.

    "How dare you barge in my bedroom and talk to me like that? Are you threatening me? And who do you think you are to tell what I feel or don't feel?" I asked turning to face her.

    "You are nothing more than a mate. And when he will get tired of you he will come to me. I know him, I know what he likes, I know how to make him hard."

    "Get out of here!" I yelled and that is when Jack opened the door and saw Amy there.

    "Amy, Leave!" he yelled and she left running "Luna, are you alright?" he asked

    "How long have they been together? How deep is the bond they have?" I asked wondering if what she told me was true. Would he go to her? Was I not enough for him?

    "Luna, the connection you two have is deeper than the mate bond. Trust me, there is nothing to worry about." he said "Let's go, we are going to be late." and I followed him out of the house.

    During all our shopping hours I felt inside me that something was going to be wrong. I felt that I was going to suffer and I was unsure of what should I do. I wanted to be happy, I wanted all my mornings to start the way this morning started, but I knew better that there was a storm coming and I will be in the middle of it.
