His Mate

Chapter 2

Elizabeth's POV

    As I entered the room that was given to me I started to prepare myself for the mating ceremony. I knew that Aaron will be there as well and I couldn't stop wondering if maybe I was his destined mate. I put on some simple makeup and a simple white dress because I wanted my mate, if there was any, to see me for who I am not for makeup or my dress. 

    When I was ready I exited the room and went for the ballroom where the ceremony will be held. As I entered the room I saw werewolves mingling and trying to get each other before the ceremony started. I saw Aaron approach me with a wide smile on his face "Why aren't you trying to mingle as the others?" he asked

    "I really don't feel like it."

    "I understand. I was like this at my first ceremony, maybe that's why I didn't find my mate." he said looking at me. When he saw me looking confused at him he said "Maybe the Godness Moon Queen has prepared something else for me, or maybe you were not here then." and I blushed.

    "Alpha" I said looking at him "I will be..." and that's when I heard the bells ring signaling that the ceremony was starting.

    The fire in the middle of the room begun burning with a red powerful flame and the moon revealed herself on the night sky. I have never seen a moon so red in my life but as far as I understood the moon was like this only during the mating ceremony and only those unmated were able to see it after their 18th birthday. A howl was released in the far and I saw how the werewolves around me started to run in all directions. I knew that most of them felt the calling of their mate, however, I didn't feel anything. I saw Aaron looking at me for a sign and when he didn't see any he smiled.

    He came near me and took my hand in his bring it to his lips and kissing "This means that you will become my Luna now?" he asked 

    I looked at him and as I was about to nod I felt I strong presence behind me. My wolf started to get excited and when I turned around I saw the most gigantic grey wolf with black eyes "Mate, mate, mate!" my wolf scream.

    Aaron looked at me in shock and retreated his hand from mine. The wolf came closer to me and sniffed me and I felt like my legs became jelly. In the next moment, I saw two guys coming my way and signaling me to follow them. They took me inside a huge bedroom and left me there. What was going to happen now? I didn't know who my mate was as a human but I had a bad feeling about it. As a admired the bedroom with a huge king-size bed and a wonderful view of the garden outside a heard the door closed and a beautiful man enter. He was tall, at least 3 heads taller than me, he had beautiful black eyes and brown hair. His skin was caramel color and he wasn't wearing a shirt. His body was well built and I could admire his 8 packs and his v muscle that was getting in his pants. I blushed when he caught me looking at him.

    "So you are my mate." he said indifferently

    "I.." I started saying but he cut me

    "What's your name?" he asked

    "I am Elizabeth and you?"

    He looked at me and smirked, "You don't know who I am?"

    "No, not really. Did we meet before?" I asked trying to remember if I ever saw him before. I could not forget a man like him if I did.

    He studied me for e minute and said "How old are you? Which pack are you from?"

    I wanted to answer and then I remembered he didn't answer my question "It seems fair to me that if I ask you something you will answer as well. How are you?" I asked again

    "You have to be kidding me" I heard him say "Who the f**k do you think you are to talk to me like that? Just answer my f*****g questions." he yelled at me and I felt my heartbreaking.

    I looked him in the eyes feeling my tears trying to surface and I took a deep breath as I said "I think that you and I will not work. Have a nice evening and a nice life Mr." I said and went for the door.

    As I was about to open the door and leave I felt him grabbing my hand and turning me to face him. The pushed me to the door and in an instant, he pressed his lips to mine. I felt sparks and goosebumps all over my body and as my wolf was happy and trying to surface and beg him to mark me, my heart was giving me the power to push him off of me. He looked at me surprised and I said "Don't you dare touch me ever again. If you think this mate bond will make me melt in your arms, you are definitely out of your f*****g mind. I don't give a s**t if you are my mate, I will not let you talk to me like that." I said and turned to leave. 

    I opened the door and he was there looking at me in shock as I turned to look at him once more and said "I will go back home and I will be marked by my Alpha and become his Luna. It was a mistake coming to this s**t tonight. Find yourself someone and"

    "I am Ares" he said and now I was the one in shock

    He took another step to me and put his hand gently on my trembling one "And you will make a great Luna, but to our pack not to some other pack" he said.

    As I was about to reject him officially he said "Think twice before rejecting me. I will kill anyone who will mark you as his mate. You are mine!" and he took me in his arms and put me on his bed.

    I was in shock and I could not think anymore when I heard the Godness Moon's voice "Your journey has began my dear. Please take care of my son and remind him that there is love in this world. I trust you with my most precious possession. My only son, Elizabeth."
