Autumn
Autumn waited around for hours while the men took turns in the room with Shawn. Sometimes they would emerge looking slightly victorious, and other times they would come out looking frustrated. No one seemed to have any information for her, though. Her faith was starting to falter. Stephanie, Chelsie and Ava had taken turns waiting with her, but between the baby, work and pregnancy, they all had their own things to deal with.
Autumn yearned for Brody. Even though he was little, he was her only family left. It had just been the two of them for so long that they had an easy comradery. Brody didn’t like it when Autumn had to play mom, but when she could just be a big sister, they always had fun. His smile could light up a room, and often was the only light in her life. As
