Autumn
Everyone gathered back at the main house the next morning. Terrell and Dru had taken turns throughout the night to keep watch on the video surveillance. As far as they knew, her brother and his captor were still safely tucked inside of Vincent’s home. Autumn felt bad that she hadn’t offered to stay up and watch the video. She also felt like it was a useless task. The odds of her getting to see her brother again seemed slim.
Ava had once again been baking. Autumn wondered where the woman got all of her energy. Not only had she got up and baked for everyone at the main house, but she was already gone to go do it all again at her café.
