Autumn
Autumn woke up ready to tackle the day. She had made up her mind that whatever she discovered about her parents, she wouldn’t let it affect her memory of them. Everyone had skeletons in their closet. She knew if her parents were looking down on her, there had been many times since their passing they would have been more than disappointed with her. Her mother and father, regardless of their wrongs, had loved her and her brother.
She went into Brody’s room and roused him awake and then headed back to change her clothes.
