Autumn
“Autumn and I are going to go and look at her parent’s safety deposit box,” Rocky told Dru as he gathered up the rest of the files.
“Okay. I’ll stick around here. I’ve already called the precinct. Keep your head on a swivel. Stonelli’s gaining momentum.”
Rocky nodded. Once he got to the top of the stairs, Autumn was waiting for him at the front door. Neither of them said a word as they loaded the truck and took off to the bank. Autumn’s emotions were all over the place, and Rocky was torn on how to help her. There was nothing he could do to take the blame off of her shoulders for Nichols’s death.
