Chapter 21 Autumn “Hello, Ms. Richie. My names Sue Hammert, and I’m one of the Title One teachers here at Triadelphia Elementary.” “Hello, it’s nice to meet you.” “This must be Brody. Hey there, it’s nice to meet you, young man.” “Hi,” Brody squeaked. “Follow me.” Autumn held onto Brody’s hand as they followed the young woman down the hallways of the school. The school was pristine, and the walls were filled with the children’s art work and awards. Autumn’s heart squeezed. She wanted Brody to experience a normal childhood and have his artwork displayed on the walls of a school he’s proud to attend.
