Chapter 5
Rocky
He knew he should back down like Autumn had asked. Rocky could feel how scared she was and hear the urgency in her voice. The names the man had been calling her were unforgiveable to Rocky. Letting the man go away unscathed felt impossible.
“Rocky, please. We need to go!” she cried, tugging on his fur.
Rocky turned his head to look at her. The fear in her expression was what finally tore him away from his prey. Rocky shifted. Before the thug could run off, he grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.
“If you speak of this to anyone, I’ll come back for you. If you ever speak of her like that again; I’ll kill you,” Rocky seethed.
