Half an hour after the injection, the drug began to take effect. My entire body convulsed with excruciating pain as sweat poured down my face. I couldn't control my facial expressions as they contorted in agony.
My lower body curled into a fetal position instinctively. The pain radiating from my abdomen and lower regions was unbearable—like someone was tearing me apart from the inside.
