36 - Bethany's Motivation

Matthew POV     I woke up to pain in my chest, and I immediately groaned in frustration.  The pain lasted longer this time, and it was more intense.  I could also feel Bethany's anger and betrayal through our bond, and that did not help with my own feelings of anger.     I didn't even attempt to climb out of bed until the pain finally subsided, but her anger and feelings of betrayal lingered for awhile before they finally calmed down a little.  I wanted nothing more than to give her a hug and tell her everything would be fine, but that wasn't option at that point in time.     As soon as I got out of bed, I jumped in a hot shower to loosen up the tension in my muscles, but I had to make it a quick one, since it took me so long to climb out of bed.  Once I dried my body off, I pulled on a
