Bethany's emotions had been going haywire for the past few days, and it was really starting to get to me. I was doing my best to not let it affect my work, but when I felt my chest start slightly burning, as well as her feelings of anger and betrayal, I couldn't take it any longer.
Being a pack doctor, I knew what was causing her chest pain, and I couldn't hold back the growl that made the walls in the pack clinic rattle. Courtney immediately eyed me suspiciously, as she warily asked, "What's happening now?"
