I stare at the ground blankly because even if I tried, I know he's gonna reject me anyways...

"Hey! snap out of it!" Troy waves his hand in front of me trying to get my attention. I eventually snapped out of it. But like I said, he'd still probably reject me or even laugh at me for confessing or even trying..

But out of nowhere he grabs one of my hands then holds it to his chest and then he grabs my face in a gentle way, then looked me straight in the eye while I look into his eyes that were sparkling..

"I'm glad you said that..."

W-Wait what?

" ...I've been too scared to admit this 'cause I thought it would ruin everything... even our friendship.."

He leans forward even more 'til our noses were touching again...

" ...you're the girl in my dreams... the one I want to kiss... the one I want to hold when it's cold... the one I want to spend forever with until we grow old...

you're the girl of my dreams that I'm lucky enough to have met in real life... "

"...I like you too... I've always had and I always will.. " He said those meaningful and heartfelt words while I hear his every breath as we got closer and I could feel his heartbeat too for every second that we were together..

" ... I will always feel this way about you... nothing will change that... believe me... " He added while still saying these words softly despite his deep voice.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! IS THIS EVEN REAL??

I move just a little bit from Troy so our faces won't be so close when I do this.

Once I had little space away from Troy, I slapped myself left and right just to wake me up 'cause I know this will only happen in my dreams and if I am dreaming, I probably overslept already and got late for school and because I'm so late they probably didn't let me go inside and then I missed our classes..

AND THE PRESENTATION... and I missed the whole thing and I might've failed and maybe I never really said those words to him... "AHHHHHH!! Why isn't it working!!". I was maybe about to go crazy when Troy grabbed both of my hands to stop me from hurting myself even more.

"Hey stop... I know this all seems like a dream... but it's not and this is how I really feel about you.. "

He looks at me just to reassure that everything's real... but he does something I couldn't believe he'd do.

He pulled me once again closer to him then he told me...

"If you still can't believe any of this is real then why don't I give you a true love's kiss to wake you up from this dream" Then he leans his face forward 'til my lips could almost feel his lips.

But I pushed him away because I know I'm still too young for this.

"Ok, ok... I believe you... but why though.. " I asked all confused.

"What do you mean?" he replied.

"Why do you like me?" I answered.

"Really? you don't know why? I mean what's there not to love about you? At first I didn't know either... 'til now I still don't understand why but it doesn't mean I'm not serious with any of my feelings for you...but the longer I spend more time with you... the more reasons I want to love you even more... My heart beats fast whenever you're around and that only happens with you and no one else... " He continued even more sincerely..

I'm speechless... he really is the first to like me and make me feel this way...

I can't believe a person like him really exists... A person who appreciates my entire existence...

A few more days pass and he got even more sweeter towards me.

- Friday -

Nothing changed between us or maybe we did get a lot closer after I confessed to him..

I thought it couldn't get any better.. but then our teacher arrived..

"Ok class please listen, This afternoon you will have no classes because you will be having an acquaintance party this afternoon. It is only for first years and it's for all of you to get to know more of the school and meet new friends too."

I was excited about the news because it meant I could spend more time with him and maybe meet new friends too!

The day went by casually and quickly and before you know it, it was already afternoon which meant it was time for our acquaintance party!

"Ok class, make a line. Girls on the left and boys on the right." Said our teacher.

Me and Troy were about to go outside but before we could even do so, she stopped us and told us..

"Before you two go out, can you please turn off the fans and close the windows as well and once you're done, you can come down."

We agreed and nodded then she left.

I was stuck with him all alone in that room..

After we were done we went to the door but before we stepped out,

He grabbed one of my hands then he kissed it while saying.

"Shall we go m'lady?" Then he smiled.

"Of course!" I happily respond.

Then he held my hand then we ran down the stairs with the adrenaline rushing through us and I could tell I'm not the only one blushing this time. Then a few minutes later.. we made it!

The whole afternoon was well spent with him and I got to meet some people too.

"He looks like he really does love me... nothing could possibly go wrong now... "
