Wild Rogue

For the past 3 months I have been assigned border patrol watch from midnight till 8 am.Working over night suites me. I love the night time, i feel like my wolf comes more alive. I grab my overnight bag with my extra clothes and began down the stairs. Im looking down at my feet as i decend down the stairs when suddenly i crash into something, or someone. I look up and see Daniel smiling at me. I roll my eyes and try to move around him. He side steps and blocks my way. " Daniel i have to go patrol and your going to make me late" i snap. " I need to talk to you Rissa" he says. " "Oh now you want to talk! I have been trying to talk to you for weeks and you just keep ignoring and dodging me" i yell. " Im sorry Rissa I really am, its just been really hard to face you after...well you know" he says. " " well your not the only one going through it Daniel, everything you felt im feeling to and you just left me to deal with it alone" i push passed him and walk out the front door. Before he can say another word i shift into my wolf my bones crack and shift into place my fair skin replaced with blinding white fur. My entire wolf is bright white except for a black patch around my left eye and left ear. I paws push off the floor with extreme force and i began running to the east to my border patrol station. We haven't had any attacks the entire time I have been here. Then again no one dares to challenge the toughest pack. But i swear these past couple of nights i have been on high alert, a few days ago i smelled hot ash and smoke(the scent of a Rogue) near by. The smell was so faint but I was positive it was there. When i get to my post i remain in wolf for for awhile. I listen intently. I can hear small animals of all sorts, a mouse running across the field, a deer snapping a twig beneath its hoof. I take in my surroundings. Its beautiful out here in the open, surrounded by tallk trees. There is one small clearing to my right, not to many trees blocking out the moonlight. I can hear the river whooshing behind me, its all so calming and peaceful. I began to shift back to human form, i dress quickly and walk towards the river, i listen and glance around I can see a few pack members off in the distance, I decide to go for a quick dip since there are warriors close by. The river only reaches my waist i just walk around for a few minutes feeling the smooth rocks with my toes. Suddenly my midnight river walk is disturbed by the smell of smoke, my heart races, the scent has never been this strong. The Rogue must be real close or worse...more then one Rogue. I quickly walk out of the river and shift. I use my strong wolf eyes to seek the Rogue out. I mind link the warriors that are closest to me they will be by my side in under a minute. Too late. I hear pounding paws behind me i spin around ready to attack when im knocked to the ground. I jump up in a flash and let out a strong growl. The Rouge wolf in front of me is slightly bigger then my wolf, he has white fur with orange streaks throughout his fur with neon orange eyes. I Lung for his throat but he dodges and some how he manages to s***h my side. I Howl in pain as i feel the blood draining out of my side. He lunges at me full force and pins me down. " Beautiful Larissa" he says. My stomach drops. " How do you know my name" i demand. I bite down his paw and he lets out a loud growl. Right as he is about to s***h my face he is tackled my a black wolf with light blue streaks "daniel" i mind link. " " Dont worry Rissa i got you" he turns to the Rogue he has pinned down and in two seconds flat he rips a hole is his throat. I shift to human form to see how bad my injuries are. My legs and arms are pretty bruised up but I have 3 deep s***h marks on my side oozing blood. I look up at daniel as he scoops me up in his arms my head rolls onto his warm chest...darkness. I wake up to machines beeping, my eyes gradually adjust to the light. I look around the room and to my left I see Daniel asleep in the chair. I smile at him just admiring how handsome he looks. He looks up at me and smiles. He stands up and walks over to the bed, leans over and kisses my cheeck. " Dont ever scare me like that" he whispers. I place my hand on the back of his neck and pull him to my lips. I kiss him softly and slow. At first he tenses but then he kisses me back. He places his hand on my cheeck and deepens the kiss, his hand slowly drops to my neck, his thumb rubs right above my colorbone. He stops our kiss and whispers" in two months I will mark you he moves his thumb back and forth, and you will be mine" he gives me one last kiss and smiles at me. " get some rest, ill be back with food"  he says with a smile and leaves. " in two months" i say with a smile. "Maybe" says Lilah. " Oh shut up will you why do you have to be so negative! " " I dont want to see either of you get hurt if we arnt his mate" she says. " He has to be" i tell her before closig our link. I lay there thinking about Neon Orange eyes. Who is he and how did he know my name.
