I woke up, and scanned my arm, rubbing my fingertips over where all the scratches and bruises were, I thought I must have dreamed that they healed but there's nothing there anymore. How did they just heal like that, my arm felt like it was on fire last night and now I have nothing. There should be scars at least, I get up and get ready, I have school.

I chuck on my black ripped jeans, an AC/DC shirt, my red flannel on top and a grey beanie, I'm going to leave my hair out today as I cant be bothered putting on make up to hid the cut across my face.

My broken arm is hurting quite a bit today, I wish it was the armed that healed. 

I head downstairs and pour myself a bowl of coco pops, I decide to sit out the front today on the porch, letting the spring breeze fly around me pushing leaves of the ground into baby twisters. I finish off my bowl of cereal and see that Mike is about to leave yelling back at his dad whose in the house still. Keys fly through the front door and Mike catches them so swiftly, he sees me watching and gives me a smile and waves.

He is now running towards me, "Hey do you go to Tarana High?" I look at him and nod, he smiles "need a lift?" I look at him and say "no, I've got a car" he looks at me realising I'm kind of challenging him. "What sort of car?" he asks, I smile and reply "69 Chevelle" his jaw dropped "You have got to be kidding that's my favourite car!" I laugh at him he is acting so girlie now "Do you want a ride?" I ask, he replies with a massive smile on his face "If it isn't too much trouble?" I nod at him and invite him in while I wash up my bowl. 

I grab my bag and my car keys, we walk through the door under the stairs into the garage, his jaw drops again, he look's so hot I can't help but smile at him. "You weren't kidding!" I shake my head no and laugh, we hop in the car and he looks at me his face very serious now "I'm sorry about yesterday, I had no clue" I look at him "It's okay, you don't need to apologise" Then I drive out of the garage and onto the road.

Tarana High School is a 20 minute drive away from here, so Mike and I listened to some of my cassette tapes, he instantly put on dark side of the moon, he knew all the words to all the songs. I thought I was the only person who listened to Pink Floyd. I smiled the whole way to school, as I park everybody is staring at me why? 

Then I realise, there staring at Mike, all the girls almost drooling already. He's definitely going to have a girlfriend in less then a month. Madison the most popular girl in my year walks up to me "So is he yours?" I shake my head no, I hate Madison she's your typical popular girl she's beautiful, blonde, not too smart but happens to get every guy she ever wants. 

She walks up to Mike along with every other girl in the school introducing herself and asking him to sit with her group at lunch. I roll my eyes and walk off to homeroom, I go to the back of the classroom to my seat and put my earphones in. Mike walks in behind and spots me, he walks up to me smiling and waving "anyone taking this seat" I shaky head no. 

Mr. Wright walks in and starts calling out our names marking them off the roster. My name as always last on the roster. As soon as he calls out my name everybody in my homeroom starts whispering, it's my first day back at school since the accident. 

As I walked through the hallway with Mike he was getting bombarded by all the girls, and the jocks heard he is pretty good at basketball so they keep asking him to shoot some hoops. He just smiles has a chat then catches up to me walking again, we have all the same classes so he's following me around for the day.

"Why do you just keep walking, stay back have a chat with me? Please" he says with begging eyes, I shake my head no and continue on. Madison glaring at me until I'm around the corner and at my locker. I open it up and right there I forgot how could I be so stupid, a picture of my family all together. Will, mum, dad and I all happy with our dog Russo at the time he was a little black Jack Russel. The photo was taken 4 years ago, I start tearing up and run to the girls bathroom. Just as Mike walks around the corner I run straight into him the girls bathroom right behind him.

He holds my shoulders looks at me "Are you alright?" I felt angry, angry because I was so stupid how could I have been so stupid, I know I'm going to get teased now for crying and crying in front of the new guy, as well as running into him. "Sky, are you alright?" Mike says with desperate eyes, he just called me Sky only my family calls me Sky my tears rolling down my face now, I sprint around him into the bathroom and into the end stall.

As I stand there crying I here girls coming in whispering about me "oh my gosh, did you see her run like a lunatic into the new hottie", " And how she just cried in front of everyone". It's burning my insides making me so angry at everything.

Ten minutes and no reply, Dusk isn't answering me. I need to get home now
