Chapter 24:
James POV:
After spending the last day at school, I closed it down and said my goodbyes to the students remaining and the staff. We had a small party and then I left the school grounds. As I got inside the car, I called up Jenna as she didn't come back home. She had a long shift at work and I wanted her to rest.
“Hey,” She answered back quickly. “Sorry, I couldn't come earlier. There is a serious accident case that I'll need to take care. The woman is injured horrible and she is still in ICU. I can't really leave, James.” Jenna said, she sounded drowsy but more worried because of her work.
“It's okay, I understand. Take some rest if you can and don't tire yourself out too much.” I stated strictly as I drove away from the school.
