Chapter 25
James POV:
A whole night had passed by, I slept in the hospital with no intentions of going back home. I couldn't rest, not even for a moment, however, Jenna got me a few sleeping pills after seeing my state and ordered me to rest, even if it was for some time. I woke up the next morning, all fresh and ready to know what all happened with Maria during the night. She went through several surgeries and she wasn't awake yet. The injections the doctors gave her put her into a deep sleep because if she would wake up, she'd be in immense pain.
Maria was moved to a ward and finally, she was out of the ICU. She was longer in critical condition and just in a few hours more, she would go on the last surgery, only then I'd be able to see her. The last surgery was a minor one but it w
