The Omega's Rejection

Chapter 6

I won't go back to that pack house. I can't deal with it. I have a limit of tolerance which was crossed long ago. I won't deal with his bull s**t anymore no matter how much it hurts me. He wants to be with Claire. He will be only with Claire, not with his real mate.

Third person pov

Zyan is trying to tell Zach something for a long time but he isn't paying attention to him as he thought he must be again nagging about his mate.

He doesn't have any time to think about her when he got to know he is going to be a father very soon. What else does he need? He is the Alpha of his and Claire's pack. Claire is pregnant and is really good in bed. Evelyn is there to keep the mate bond alive and keeps her mouth shut.

He won't lie, her broken self did pinch him a bit because they are mates, nothing else but he didn't let that affect him.

"What happened to you Zyan? Why are you eating my head?" Zach asked getting irritated by his constant nagging

"Mate is in danger, mate is away! Search mate." He said and Zach stopped whatever he was doing

"Evelyn isn't in the pack house?" he asked himself and called an omega to check on her

"Alpha omega Evelyn isn't in her room. She didn't do any work today saying she was sick." the omega informed him and Zach was alerted

He asked the omega to leave and decided to search for her. If she does something stupid Zyan will be affected deeply and he can't let that happen at any cost.

He shifted in his wolf form and searched for Evelyn using her scent. After running here and there for a while finally he found her on the cliff and changed into his human form. He can shift with clothes as well because he is an Alpha.

"What are you doing here Evelyn? Why aren't you in the pack house? Didn't I warn you already?" Zach asked angrily when he found her sitting at the edge of the cliff

"Warn me about what, Zach?" Evelyn asked getting up from her place and facing him with her red puffy eyes

"You can't go anywhere you want to go. Did you take my permission? Did you inform me? No right then why should I not ask you?" he asked her

Evelyn's pov

His words are burning my skin along with my heart. He is a heartless guy and I can't stay as his mate. I don't deserve him as my mate.

"I can't do this anymore Zach. I guess it's time we reject each other and move on with life. You're going to be a father soon and you should focus on your mate and pup not on other things. I can't tolerate my mate fathering someone else's pup in front of my eyes giving my rights to someone else. I have tolerated more than I should have but it's never too late for it." I told him and saw how the colour of his face drained

"You are kidding aren't you? My wolf will be harmed if you do that. I won't reject you, forget it." Zach said and I lost my mind

"Of course your wolf will be harmed if I reject you and have you thought about me or my wolf? How will we stay seeing our mate with someone else? Have you ever thought about how we tolerate the burn of your betrayal every night? Have you? No you didn't because you don't care about us. You and your wolf both are pathetic. Why should I bear this torture of being a hidden mate of yours? Just because I stay in your pack? I don't want to stay there either. You can stay in your pack with your chosen mate happily. I won't stay with you anymore." I shouted angrily

All the anger from past months is surfacing now and there is no going back.

"Evelyn you won't do anything stupid." He warned me and I smirked

"Watch me destroy you Zach. I Evelyn Smith is rejecting you Alpha Zach Harper as my soulmate hence we are not bound by the mate bond." I said and saw him falling down on his knees

He is in pain just the way he gave me pain. We are equal now.

"Accept it Zach otherwise the pain will kill you slowly. Accept it and end it for good." I told him and he looked at me in pain

"I accept your rejection." He said to get away from the pain and as soon as he accepted it pain hit me with full force

As if someone was stabbing me in my heart. The pain was too much to handle, I didn't noticed that I was still standing at the edge of the cliff one wrong step from my side and I felt myself falling off from the cliff not knowing if I will survive or not.
