Evelyn's pov

I opened my eyes and found myself laying on green grass. The place looks like a valley to me! Beautiful, enchanting and peaceful. So many flowers are blooming here and the whole place is filled with their smell. Wait a minute! Ain't I supposed to be on the ground bloodied and injured?

Or worse floating in the river falling down from the waterfall? What am I doing in the heavenly place? I checked my body to find any injuries but found none. How is it possible? It's not painful either! Where am I?

I got up from the ground and looked around. Nobody was here except me. I need to find someone who can tell me where this place is.

I need to find a place where I can live even though if this is a wolf pack border I won't mind staying here as a rogue wolf. Just clean water and fish from the river along with fruits from the trees. I'm all set.

“Hello? Is anybody here?” I shouted but my voice echoed through the valley

Am I really alone here? If yes then it's scary! I need to get out of this place.

I started walking to find an exit from this place but couldn't find it.

“Are you searching for something Evelyn?” suddenly someone said making me startled

I turned around to find a beautiful woman standing in front of me wearing a white dress. Her hair, eyes and skin are all milky white. She has no black pupils like we do. Who is she?

Is she some ghost? Wait a minute, am I dead? Is it heaven? Did I reach heaven?

“Who are you? What is this place? How do you know my name?” I asked her because it's really creepy

When my own pack members don't remember my name clearly, how does this lady know?

“This is the Garden of heaven Evelyn. You're absolutely correct you're in heaven but you're not dead yet. You're hanging between life and death. That's why you didn't enter the main heaven yet and about who I am? I am your creator, my child. I know everything about you. Because a mother can never abandon her children.” she said and I instantly realised that she is the Moon Goddess

“Oh so you're the one who paired me with that s**t head Zach? Why? Didn't you find anyone else? Even an omega would have worked for me. From a different pack or someone who empathises with me, not a jerk like him.” I finally said what I used to say from Earth

She just smiled lightly in return and a small tea table along with two chairs appeared in front of us.

“Take a seat here, I know you have lots of complaints against me. I will listen to everything while you have something.” she said and I sat down beside her

I'm not dreaming right? Should I pinch myself? And I did. It hurts ouch! That means I'm not dreaming. I'm actually sitting in front of the Moon Goddess.

“Can I meet my parents? When can I enter heaven?” I asked her

If I'm here, there's no way I'm going back to Earth. That place only hurt me.

“You can't my child because they have taken rebirth long ago. No soul stays here for long. They come here, stay for a while and take rebirth. You have two choices my child. One you die and stay here then take rebirth another you go back to your body and live fully enjoying the goodness of life you have in your fate.” she said and I became sad

They aren't here for me anymore. They are on Earth living their second life forgetting about me.

“Do I have anything good left?” I asked her and she nodded

“I give my children what they deserve Evelyn, not something they don't. You deserve the world and there is someone who is waiting for you for a long time. He is waiting for his mate to come and love him just like you want to be loved. Now tell me what you will choose? Once you leave from here all the memories of this conversation will get erased from your brain. Now it's your decision.” she told me and it made me think

Should I give my life a second chance? Maybe this time I won't regret it because the Moon Goddess herself wants me to go.

“One more thing Evelyn you have a special power inside you which you're yet to find out. Once you do, use it carefully.” she continues when I didn't reply to her

“I want to go back but I better not regret it.” I told her

“You won't! He won't let you. I bless you with a new life my child. Go and finish your life's purpose.” that was the last thing I heard before my eyes started to become heavy and I fell asleep
