Aurora stared at the ground while Melanie pleaded with her to say something, but Aurora kept her silence. Seeing that Aurora would not say a word, Conrad called for Nira to be brought in. A guard escorted Nira with her father, and she stepped before the king and queen, then curtsied as she too focused on the ground.
