Professor Floyd!
Holy Deities are humans gifted with powers to protect those around them. Soon humans started to use them to kill the vampires and werewolves that would attack them. Years of being in pursuit have made the Vampires and Werewolves band together to keep each other safe. The two formed a pact and started to live in each other's territories. Soon werewolves would find their mates to be a human or Holy Deity. This caused a bit of trouble within the domain, but they knew there was nothing they could do. The Elders decided to open up the gates a bit to welcome any brave human to step into their world. Vampires and Werewolves were the only species to have "another half." Werewolves have mates, and Vampires have bonds. Whenever a Vampire and Werewolf were a fated pair, there would often be a half-blood offspring which isn't that uncommon. Werewolves and their own species or humans are the most common. Werewolves and Holy Deities aren't uncommon but don't appear as much as the other mixes. Werewolves and Vampires are the rarest. Vampires bonded with humans were the most common. Vampires and werewolves would come second. As for Holy Deities, they were unheard of. Vampires and Holy deities don't mix well. They were always at each other throats. There was a time when they tried to welcome each other, but there would always be fights between the two species, blood being shed more and more. Soon the vampires had to flee the land as they were starting to be hunted more often. But that was centuries ago, and times have changed. Of course, the deep connections with finding your other half have died down, but you will know when you are with your other half. For wolves, you find yourself drawn to them, not wanting to leave their side. On the other hand, vampires must come in contact with their bond mates. *Jasper Whitlock* "Haha!" I laughed loudly at my friend's jokes. I'm out drinking with some buddies after a long day of tests. As I drink another cup of beer, my friend says my name. "Jasper?" he pauses as I look at him. "Isn't that your boyfriend?" he pointed towards the person he was looking at, and I turned to look. I took another sip of my cup and took my phone out. I pressed a few buttons and put it back. "Whaddya say?" my friend asked curiously. "I just something along the lines of calling him a peanut-brained i***t and saying we are over." I guess I said that pretty loudly since my now ex-boyfriend looked back at me with horrified eyes and quickly turned his attention back to his partner. I just clicked my tongue and downed a whole bottle. "Woah! Buddy, calm down!" worried one of my friends as they grabbed the bottle. My head soon became a bit fuzzy from all my drinking tonight."Get home safely, okay?" shouted one of my friends as he walked away. Soon everyone left the bar, and I was the only one standing in front of it. I let out a heavy sigh as I slowly made my way toward my own home. "Was the ground always moving like that?" I mumbled to myself. I made my way towards the park near my house. "I need to get a bottle of water," I mumbled. I found a vending machine in the park and sat on the bench next to it. "Argh, this place is so shitty," I cursed, placing the cold water bottle on my forehead. "Humans really are trash," I grumbled out loud. "He was the worst trash of them all!" I shouted. I threw the half-empty water bottle. "Why are they all like this." complaining to no one in particular. I let out a frustrated sigh and leaned my head back against the back of the bench. I closed my eyes, and as I did, I felt something cold on my cheek which caused me to slap it away. I looked up at the person who attempted to give me the water bottle back. "You! What're you doing here!" I shouted at the man, my words slurred. "Are you 'ere to break my heart t-too!" I glared, slurring more with my words. The man didn't respond, but he did go and pick up the water bottle again. He walked back to me and sat down next to me. As he sat down, he handed me the water bottle, and when he did, I came in contact with his hand. The slight touch burned like fire. The touch caused me to snatch the water bottle. "T-thank you." I fumbled with my words as I thanked him. I was about to ask about that feeling, but my eyes started to close on their own, and soon, I was fast asleep. The Next Day My phone went off, making me turn it off, groaning as I rolled over. I quickly sit up and realize I'm not at home. The bed I was on was soft, along with the big blanket covering me. I felt a throbbing pain pounding my head, making me bring my hand to my head. "Ugh," I look at my phone, which was next to a cup of water and a pill, along with a note. I looked at the note, which said, "Hey, you passed out at the park, and I didn't want to leave you there, so I brought you to a nearby hotel. Don't worry about paying for it; I did last night. I left a cup of water and a pill for your headache, so don't forget to take it when you wake up." Then it was signed with his initials IF and his number. Next to it read, "Ps. If you have any questions, text me :)" I laughed a bit at the poorly thought-out chance of giving me his number. I quickly take the pill and gulp down the water. I grabbed my phone and was surprised by all the messages from William, and I gave him a call. He answers and immediately shouts at me, "Where have you been all night!?" basically screaming into the phone. "Sorry, sorry! I got drunk last night and passed out in a hotel." I answered him purposefully, leaving out the part about meeting someone. "Are you coming to school today?" He asked as he calmed down. "Yea, I'll be a little late just to grab something to eat." I respond, "Okay. See you later." And with that, he hangs up. I look back at the note and decide to text the number the man from last night gave me. "Hello! This is the guy you took to the hotel/ Thank you so much for looking after me." I sent it, and I got a quick response back. "Hey, I hope you rested nicely and no problem. Did you take medicine?" "I did! If you can, could we meet up sometime? I'd like to pay you back." I made my way out of the hotel with my stuff and received another text as I walked out of the building. "I'm sure we will see each other again." I didn't know how to respond, so I left him on seen. 'Maybe he doesn't want to meet again,' I thought as I made my way to school. "Argh, whatever, I doubt I'll see that man again." That is what I thought this morning, but he was standing at the front of the course as soon as I walked into my last class of the day. 'P-professor f-FLOYD!?" I shouted a bit too loudly, catching his attention, and I quickly turned away to face my friend William. "PFT," William laughed as we sat down in our seats. I told William what happened last night during lunch, but I felt like I had forgotten something significant when I told him. I just coughed as I smacked his back and pulled out my book. "What a small world we live in!" laughed William as he also pulled out his book. "Are you still going to pay him back for taking care of you last night?" He asked, settling down. "Of course," I grumbled back. Then he began class. I made contact with him a few times, and I would look down at my book. A few times, he would smile at me, and I couldn't help but feel embarrassed. Soon the class came to an end, and he said, "That's the end of class. If any of you couldn't get all the notes down, feel free to come to my office to finish them off." As he finished saying that, he made eye contact with me. People started to leave the class, and William and I followed. "You didn't get the last part of the notes." He paused, and a little smirk appeared on his face. "Are you gonna go to his office" He elbows me playfully. "Y-yes! For the notes, obviously." I say back quickly, "Hah? You can just ask me for them, you know." He chuckles as he makes fun of me. "Sh-shut up already, go home!" I knock him off, and he puts his hands up and backs off. "Okay, geez, no need to be so embarrassed." He laughed, putting his hands in his pocket. I ignore him, and soon we are in front of his office. Before I said anything to William, he said, "Well, I'll be off now. "He gave me a toothy smile. "make sure you come home tonight." And with that, he walks off. I knock on the door and hear a muffled "Come in!" from the inside. I let myself in and shut the door quietly behind me. "Hello, mister Whitlock." He greets me with a big smile. "H-Hello." I stuttered. 'Gah! Why did I stutter.' I mentally cried. "I doubt you're here to finish your notes since you always finsih th-." He stops his sentence when he sees the look on my face. "I kinda do need to look at the notes," I say quietly as I look at him. He laughed for a split second and told me, "Okay, wait there for a second." I nodded my head as he told me to wait. While waiting, I took a moment to look ta his room. His office is relatively small. I gently close the door behind me. His desk is off to the side of the wall, facing away from the wall, so he has his back against the wall with his office chair. Then he has a couch with a short table across from him, against the other wall. He also has many bookshelves that cover most of the walls. The back wall had a bookshelf in the middle of the two windows, and it had dark curtains. "Jasper?" he says as he snaps me out of my thoughts. "Y-yes?" I say, slightly startled, "Here, you can sit on the couch and finish your notes." I take the tablet in my hands and sit on the floor between the couch and the low table he had in front of it. I take out my notebook and pen and finish my notes. A few moments late and I finish my notes. As soon as I finish, I hear Mister Floyd say, "Wow, You really stay focused as you do your work." I looked up and noticed he wasn't at his desk but instead. "I'm behind you." He says as he brings his hand to my neck and guides my head to look straight at him. He is sitting right behind me, looking down at me while keeping his hand on my neck. I suddenly flushed red at our positioning and swatted his hand away. "T-thank you for the notes an-and thank you for taking care of me again!" I Slightly shout as my heart is racing. I keep my eyes on the notebook in front of me. "Do you," his voice fades, "Do you not remember?" He asks, and I look back at him. I look back at him and tilt my head. "Sorry?" I asked, not knowing what he meant. "Well, I guess you were drunk." He mumbles to himself, but I still hear him. I just stare at him, and he looks back at me with a sad expression. "I can wait." I mumble and then say, "So why didn't you finish your notes? Is it because of your break up?" He pauses while looking down at me as I sit between his legs. "I can give you guidance if you would like." He offers. I looked at him for a bit as he had a sad expression. "Uhm, I'm alright; I'm used to it," I say quietly as I pack my stuff. I feel like I just heard something snap. "Is that so?" He says as I get up. "Well, You now have my number." He smiles at me as he opens the doo['r. "Thank you again." He just nods and shuts the door. As soon as he shuts the door, I run my hands through my hair. "Seriously, what did I forget," I grumble as I start to head off-campus. The moment I step off-campus, the scent of dull blood hits my nose, and I quickly cover it. 'Why does it smell so gross.' I wonder as I'm walking towards it. It led me to a nearby alleyway, and I walked in. "Isn't it dangerous doing something like that here?" I said out loud, running my hands through my hair. "Aw, you're worried about me!" says the person in the shadows.
