Abby's POV: Hello, I am Abby. I have a boyfriend named Luke. Everything has been perfect since I moved to live with him. We met in high school. Since then, we have been inseparable. The biggest problem is that my parents don't like him. Maybe I should say he is not dad-approved. In the beginning, I tried to understand why. After some time, I decided to give up. There was no point. I haven't talked to my parents for years. Mom calls me for my birthday, but that's it. She wants us to make up things, but that won't happen. I mean, not until my dad accepts my boyfriend. No matter what he thinks about him, I am not leaving Luke. He had a lot of problems with his parents. That's why I am here, to help him. I have to say that since he is not an assistant anymore, people look at him differently. No one expected a boy who had never been to university to know so much. My boyfriend is a fast learner. He can learn something for five minutes. I'm glad that now we split the chores. Before, he was doing everything alone. According to him, I had to focus on my studies. Now, I help him with everything I can. It's enough that he goes to work every day. I can cook as well. Maybe I am not a professional cook, but I am doing well. Sometimes, we struggle, but it's not that often. In the beginning, we had only his grandparents' money. Now both of us are working. I am still in the same company. I can change it if I want, but I'm good. There is no need for that. I have a good salary here. Also, the people with who I work are nice to me. We have been through a lot of things, but we learned a lot of lessons. I'm glad that he is with me every day. Luke is the only thing I have now. I am so happy that we managed to be where we are today. We deserve it. I hope that from now on, everything will be peaceful. It's the weekend. None of us has plans, so we can go out and do something. Three months ago, a new family came into the neighborhood. They are our new friends. The people are only three years older than us. We talk about everything and even have dinner together. This is not something I like because that way, he gets everything he wants. When the food was ready, we sat down to eat. I have to say that he learned how to cook. I am impressed by his skills. In the beginning, she told me Jason wanted a boy. Now, both want to have a baby. No matter the gender. I know what it feels like to want something so much but to wait for it. I was patient with my dad to see if he would change his mind about my boyfriend. I have wanted to live with him since he moved out of his parent's house. Honestly, all I wanted was to be there for support. Around 4 pm, we walked back to Loren's house. The boys were drinking beer and laughing. I guess everything is ok. I said it, and I will keep saying it. My boyfriend is perfect. That's why I love him so much. - Hey, boys. - I said - Look who decided to come back. - Luke said, chuckling - How is the sink? - Loren asked - Thanks to our friend, we fixed it for half an hour. - Jason said - What was the problem? - One pipe. I want to go under the covers and never get up until the morning. The other thing that I want is some cuddles. Luke can't say no to this because I know he loves it, too. - It's already bedtime. I love this boy more than anything. I don't know what he did, but it was enough to make me fall for him. It started as a game and ended as true love. I will never forget this. He is the best thing that has happened to me since high school. Everything was perfect. Since then, my life has been better. I owe him a lot. Maybe that should be my gift for our anniversary.
